Question 1: What’s the overall problem from a Human Resources Management perspective?

Human Resource Management is an integral part of the running of an organization. The section usually is concerned with the management of individuals to particular jobs. Thus it provides a basis under which individuals are employed in an organization. The nurses feel their salaries do not resemble the services and responsibilities they have. From the HRM perspective, the overall problem in the case is the management of workers’ emotions towards a particular responsibility.

Question 2:What could hire managers to do to create a realistic job preview during the interview process?  Describe how you think it will help with retention

Hiring a new manager can help to connect with the right candidates for a particular job. Managers can be crucial in presenting both positive and negative aspects of a specific task. This helps job seekers have proper knowledge about the role rather than individuals’ expectations to post. Employing a realistic job preview can be the best way to earn impressions of individuals and inculcate honesty and transparency. Using the RJP strategy in this case where nurses are complaining of their salaries can be a proper tool to mitigate the problem.RJP will enable nurses to understand the responsibilities required; thus, they can make a better decision.

Question 3:How could training be used to help reduce the turnover of nurses?  Explain.

The rate at which nurses are leaving the hospitals, in this case, seems to be high and poses a challenge to the hospital management.Thus training is an excellent approach to use in this case to prevent further nurses turnover. Training will reduce nurse turnover in that it helps in career development. With training, nurses will develop career paths. Thus be able to see the relationship between the new concepts learned and their effect on future job opportunities, therefore, will make them stay.

Question 4:How could hospitals work to reduce work-related injuries among nurses?  Explain.

Injuries are among the challenges faced by nurses while they carry out their responsibilities. Thus hospitals can reduce the casualties by ensuring strong leadership in hospitals. Strong leadership will ensure workers are accountable in their work and thus reduce minor reduces. Moreover, the hospital can reduce the injuries by continuing to run its training programs to all workers, whether new or continuing. Training programs will reduce injuries by ensuring nurses have the appropriate knowledge to do their work.
