The diversity of organizational leadership and its effect on employees’ confidence and job satisfaction has made it challenging for researchers to come up with a conclusion. This diversity has made it hard for the researchers to come up with the literature about organizational leadership in behavioral healthcare settings. (..) The above information will assist researchers and organization leaders in creating strategic plans to reduce the high rate of employees’ turnover and low productivity. The literature further reveals that lack of enough knowledge about organization leadership in a behavioral healthcare setting.  The literature presented above has contributed to having a better understanding of the impacts of organizations’ leadership to employees’ morale and job satisfaction. The research has also assisted in filling the existing gap in the literature on this topic of study.

Employees’ morale is one of the significant concerns that organization leadership should be concerned about (Bell & Raj, 2016). He, Zhu, and Zheng (2014) stated that without positive morale, it is tough for the organization to succeed since there is no motivation for the employees to be more productive. Zhu and Zheng (2014) further stated that understanding employees are a matter of keeping them happy and then improving their working conditions. This indicates that when employees‘ morale is increased, productivity increases and causes low employee turnover, thus reducing costs in an organization (Schuckert, Kim, Paek& Lee, 2018). Hence organization leaders must understand the factors that affect employees’ morale in an organization.

In the behavioral healthcare settings organizations, employees’ feeling of job satisfaction is a critical component of organization leadership (Rahimnia&Sharifirad, 2015).   According to Jyoti and Dev (2015), job satisfaction can be defined as a term that describes whether employees are happily contented and fulfilling their desires and needs at work. Valaei and Rezaei (2016) found that a company that has flexible management that allows employees to participate and emphasizes communication and employee reward has more probability of employee job satisfaction. Therefore there is a need to support employees to improve their morale and also feel satisfied in their workplace. This research literature will be used to develop awareness and understanding the concept of the impacts of organization leadership on employees’ morale and job satisfaction.

This summary offered a literature review on the effects of organizational leadership on the employees’ morale and job satisfaction. Employees, organization leadership, and management are the essential factors that lead to the success of the organization. Organization leaderships still needs a lot of improvement, although some organization has put in place some measures to improve the morale of the employees and also ensure that they are satisfied in their workplace.

This section begins with a theoretical framework. Transformational leadership theory was discussed in this section. States that leaders have to work with their team to identify the changes that are necessary for improving the current conditions (Ghasabeh, Soosay&Reaiche, 2015). McCleskey (2014) stated that transformation leadership theory challenges the teams in an organization to take significant ownership of their work. Transformation leadership helps in boosting employees’ motivation, morale, and job performance. This is because the whole process involves working together with the team members hence allowing them to have a sense of power while performing their duties. The leaders and managers in an organization can apply transformation theory in assigning .duties based on the strength of various employees, also by checking on the employees’ weaknesses, thus making every member of a team a success (Antonakis& Day, 2017).

Organizational leadership was also discussed to help understand the meaning of the term of corporate leadership. Organization leadership in health services emphasizes on top quality and compassionate care. According to Oliver (2006), effective leaders ensure that the voice of patients is consistently heard, improved patient experience, and the feedbacks of the patients, whether positive or negative, are attended to. Various types of organizational leadership were discussed, which include transformational, democratic, autocratic, laissez-faire, bureaucratic, servant, transactional, and situational. Organizational leadership role in improving employee morale and job satisfaction were also discussed in this section. According to Bihani and Dalal(2014), employees’ confidence can be improved by streamlining work responsibilities according to people’s talent. The researchers further stated that by allowing employees to work according to their abilities drives the company to success and also to that of the employee (Balynskaya, Sinitsina, Kuznetsova &Nazarova, 2015).
