Personal Summary

My overall goal is to become chief executive officers of a mega technology company working on a global scale. I have a passion for technology, but my skills favor business management and that is why I prefer to be a manager of a leading company that works for my interests. In getting to have this goal attained, I have three goals that will need to set and attain. These are the immediate goals, short-term goals and long-term goals.

Immediate Goals

The immediate goals, in this case, refers o what I am to achieve in less than three years. One of these is complete my undergraduate degree. This will be an excellent way to kick-start my personal development through education that my career goal will be attained. Additionally, there is another immediate goal for me to get an internship opportunity. This will, be a perfect way of starting my career through working under an experienced professional. It will also be an ideal stepping stone towards applying my classroom theoretical knowledge.

Short-term Goals

The short-term goals are the goals I will be achieving in the next three to five years. By the end of the fifth year, I have a goal of having enrolled for my master’s degree in business management. This will be the only way of advancing my personal development. I also have the intention of already having a job in a technology organization in the management or marketing section.

Long-term Goals

The long-term goal will entail the period ranging 25and 50 years. One of the long-term goals is to complete my doctoral program in business management. This is important for my lifetime professional goal of becoming a CEO of a company. Another goal is that I should have raised ranks in the job and already working in the senior management position and eventually becoming a CEO.

Assessment of the Summary

The evaluation looks at the factors that will either make my career success or a failure based on the goals that I have set. The assessment looks at internal and external factors and their effects on me.

Strengths and Weaknesses

One of my major personal strengths is my readiness to learn. This trait makes me a person that is easy to handle especially in the working environment. In as much as I will start my career immediately from school, my readiness to learn will allow me the chance to determine what is needed of me as a professional. Another personal strength is my resilience. Regardless of the situation at hand, I always strive towards giving my very best in the working set and this will able me to work hard through the ranks in the business setting.

My significantweakness, however, is the lack of patience. The fact that I am a hard worker, I expect immediate results. This is a trait that will not make me a good manager because people will not want to work under me.

Opportunities and Threats

One of the significantopportunities that I have to take advantage of is the opportunity to learn through online programs. I have a goal of being a professional and at the same time, enhancing my personal development through education. Virtual learning opportunities will allow me the chance to become successful when it comes easy for me to learn, and at the same time, work.

The primary threat that will have a negative impact on my goals is the uncertainties of job security. With the unstable global economy, getting employed immediately and retaining the job depends on the performance of the organization.
