Although I am a business owner, I did not concentrate much on content writing skills. As 1st task is to write 1000 words article on what I learned in 1st class, my thoughts are like, ‘oh my god, I should write now!’, But after completion, the story changed. My energy multiplied for the next online class to begin.
I am happy to inform you that I scored 81 in the first assignment. I want to say thanks to team Deepak for review and feedback. They told me to give a valid conclusion. My co-intern Krishna Prashanth advised me, Hemingway editor. Taking input and suggestions into consideration, I am writing my next article.
As I am 2 minutes late to join the class, I missed the link of the intern’s facebook group, yet I got it in the chatbox. One important point I want to make is that Deepak always makes sure that the class is more interactive. I chose 90% when he asked to guess the percentage of people who completed the tasks. It turned out to be 87% of the students who completed the given tasks. I am proud that I am not among the other 13% of the class.
Now instead of beating around the bush, I will come to the point.

Learn, Do, Teach
“In learning, you will teach. In teaching, you will learn”
Here comes the golden quote of the class ‘Learn, Do & Teach.’ When we listen to something, we don’t learn 100% from it. We can enhance this learning through practical implementation. Even after implementing them, it doesn’t mean that we mastered it. The solutions we used to solve our problems may not be the best. When we discuss & teach others, it helps us learn more and improve our knowledge. Hence, I agree with the quote ‘Learn, Do & Teach’;
Communication Rules the Marketing:
Through marketing, we form a relationship between the clients and business. So, communication plays a vital role in marketing.

Being Authentic:
Being authentic is the best way to be ourselves. If we are genuine, the words flow. We should mean everything we say. Understand the client’s problems and propose a solution. Never tell a client that he should buy what we are selling. Convince him that the product he requires is for sale.
As a marketer, we should always position ourselves in the shoes of the customer.
Awkwardness is an Indicator of Learning
Failures are the stepping stones of success. It is indeed true that there can be no man in this world who made no mistake or who never failed. Failures and mistakes are always part of life. But, it is our reaction to failures and mistakes that decide success in life. Our mindset should always be ready to accept our mistakes and learn from them.
As I explained in the beginning, I scored just 81 marks for my first article & my position is 256. In spite of this, I am not feeling degraded as I know that failures are the stepping stones of success. So, I am going to improve myself by learning from my mistakes to perform better.
Knowing your customer: Customer Avatar
Customer avatar refers to the statistical information about the possible potential customers. We need to understand the clients to communicate with them.
Collecting details about clients, as mentioned below, is the key to understand them.
- Demographic information
- Psychographic information
- Professional information.
Knowing the enemy will help us win the battle. Knowing the customer will help us win marketing.
Proper analysis of our customer avatar will save both time and money in marketing. One of the best ways to create customer avatar is through surveys. We should start with simple and relative questions so that customers feel related.
Higher the participation of potential customers; Higher the accuracy of customer avatar.
There are many websites that help us reach people with proper surveys.

Joining the “Digital Marketing Internship” is the best thing that happened in 2019.
When I started my website background work in 2015, I don’t know anyone to guide me in this field.
Everything I searched from Google. Lack of guidance, I faced many problems, from company registration to website development. Yet, i launched my website in 2018 after five iterations of testing. I marketed using social media, Google Adsense, etc. But I am not satisfied with the results. In such a condition, I came across an internship program by Mr. Deepak Kanakaraju. I trust that this program will show me the way to success. After joining this program, I am learning so many tips, tools, and doing it in practice. I am also happy to be part of “Intern with digital Deepak” and “Learn Digital Marketing” groups on facebook. I am learning new things which we can’t buy anywhere. I Got new friends of my kind. I am confident that I am going to ascend the ladder of success under the guidance of Deepak, sir.
