“Koop Family Foundation Grants”

My RFP is worth pursuing because it seeks to help children that are aging out of foster care. The number of children that fall under this category has continued to increase. Hence there is a need to come up with a solution to help these children. Most of the children who are aging out of foster care do not have the income to cater to their day to day needs; hence they end up getting messing themselves. My RFP is worth pursuing because it will help to solve the unemployment crisis amongst the youths. Drug abuse and crime are significant threats to contemporary society; therefore, there is a need to help teenagers because they are the victims.

For the RFP to be of high quality, various evaluation stages have to get considered. I used the following steps to evaluate my RFP. I first made an introduction of the RFP. An introduction is essential because it attracts the bidder. The RFP should be easy to understand and brief; this is the second evaluation stage. There is a need for the RFP to be precise and straight to be the point. Unnecessary stories are irrelevant in RFP (Spaulding 2013). There is a need to state the requirements appropriately in the RFP. The bidder should know what they are getting themselves before they accept the proposal. The terms and conditions of the RFP helped me to evaluate the program. It is vital to state ways of delivery and payment. All the set expectations of the RFP are crucial. Set expectations include; process deadlines, bidding process, submission requirements, and all the relevant technical procedures.

The five stages that have gotten described above form the basic evaluation standards that I used to evaluate the RFP. Google, Yahoo, Baidu, and Bing are some of the search engines that I used. The above search engines enabled me to cover a large population base within a short time, and they are efficient and effective. The funding agency has the objective of improving the welfare of the community members. The provision of high quantity and quality services is the primary goal of the funding agency. The applicant must meet the stated conditions and terms of the RFP. The applicant should have a good reputation and should meet its financial obligations. I selected this RFP because it seeks to help the youths in the community (Dicker 2002). Most of the children who are aging out of foster care are the youths. Therefore there is a need to help them.

Part II

The primary objective of the project is to solve drug abuse, crime, and the other issues experienced by the children who are aging out of foster care. The program seeks to come up with ways that will help to keep the youths busy and provide them with the knowledge on how they can earn a living on their own. The project is innovative and significant since it tackles the challenges experienced by children who are aging out of foster care and how to address these challenges. The increase in crime and drug abuse amongst the youths led me to the project.

There is a need to fund the project because it addresses the issues faced by contemporary society. The primary objective of the project is to provide stability in the community by creating social order.  My plan is a better solution because a lot of research has gotten carried out to establish the program. The program tackles existing issues in the community.
