English quotes

The quote is written in the book “A hero of the time” by Mikhail Lermontov. Pechorin is a man who has described as heroic and brilliant. Furthermore, the author describes Pechorin as a very hardworking character. The act of spending his day out hunting in the rain strongly supports the point. Going against nature is also expressed in the quote; Pechorin can do what many would not have done.

Additionally, the quote describes a man who does not take care of his health. The act of hunting the whole day may result in unnecessary tension of the major body tissues. Also, hunting in rains and the cold supports the fact that Pechorin did not prioritize his health issues. Besides, the author notes that the cold made him turn pale, yet Pechorin did not mind.

Pechorin, in the quote by Mikhail, is depicted as a coward man despite his heroism. The fact that the author states that “another time he would be sitting in his house,” shows that Pechorin feared interaction with people. The fact that he used to turn pale whenever shutters rattled against the window contracts the heroism nature of the man. The author states that he “say him attacking the boar single-handed brings us back to the main point, “heroism.” The author states that the man was cool. “Often enough, you couldn’t… out of him for hours together.” On the other side, if Pechorin decides to narrate stories to you, you will understand him as a humorous man.

Quote 1

The quote in the book “The Overcoat and other tales of good and evil” is work done by Nicolai Gogol. The quote reveals the readers a young artist by the name Piskarev. Roman and love is clear from the quote. “…who carried within his breast the seeds that at a favorable opportunity might one day have blossomed into flower,” expresses the love Piskarev had toward the unknown girl. The quote depicts how a specific class of individuals is hurt by those they love despite their good characters. Besides, the quote portrays Piskarev as a victim of love fantasy. Piskarev’s love fantasy is revealed where the Gogol states that, “… whom all his thoughts and feelings were consecrated and whom he did not for a moment lose sight of…”

The quote also reveals the beauty of the unknown woman who catches all the attentions of Piskarev. The girl’s beauty is depicted in the book as an epitome when he states that, “… suddenly turned her head and looked at him. Oh, dear god, what heavenly feature!” The quote also establishes the man who not only loves the unknown girl but also is in great fear of the relationship. The love, according to Gogol, is behind many strange events such as heartbreaks. The point is illustrated when the author describes Piskarev as, “… with a secret dread in his heart, and he seemed surprised at his own impertinence …” Piskarev is inexpressiveness; he is unable to speak out his love to the unknown girl. The author states he would only stare at the girl.
