Describe the background of Abu Masud al Zarqawi before the formation of his group.

He is also a dentist by profession but practiced in Syria. He has been described to be the former deputy leader of the founder of the al-Qaeda group, Osama Bin Laden.

Zarqawi started developing his leadership skills at the Jordan prisons, which is known to be a place where cruel men in the society were sent to be forgotten. The Mukhabarat is a group of police officers that were responsible for controlling terrorist groups that were taking shape in Iraq. However, this group has been responsible for both the positives and negatives in terms of the growth of the Islamist groups. One of the roles that they made in Zarqawi’s life is that through the tortures such as imprisonment hardened him up in terms of the way he viewed things and expanded network of coconspirators. Failure of the Mukhabarat to keep track of some other terrorist groups that were upcoming led to the rise of the Zarqawi’s group that became a self-declared group that claimed two borders at Jordan. The second role is that through was after the hotel bombings incident, the Mukhabarat officer gave the___14 United States intelligence in terms of the location of the Zarqawi. However, the followers retreated, and thus it gave them ample time in terms of changing a terrorist group to an army in a span of seven years since the year 2006 to the year 2013.

They also had access to ammunitions and transportation machines, such as the tankers. This gave a sound basis in terms of defense since they were heavily armed.
