In 1997, The FBI files were aired as a TV series having case studies of forensic science. The episode of focused in the study is the Death Grip found in season two of the series. These awards emanated from being the best movies to portray the human character in the television and film. During the awards, the particular detective had appeared on the screen approximately 254 times. The exciting fact is how the contemporary era shows detective talents compared to 125 years ago. The San Diego serial Killer is famous for killing 35 to 40 prostitutes in the area and placing them in plastic bags later disposing of in the dumpster. The movie comes in handy to adapt new detective ideologies and strengthening of the national identity. Most of the people have recommended the story terming it as “Powerful,” where it asserts the idea of culture to the imperialist. The research provides an analysis of major themes evident in the film, like the crimes focused on the films, forensic analysis, and various ways of solving crimes.

Describe in details, the crime on which this show focused

            This episode of the film revolves around truths and untruths examining crimes of blackmail. The theory present in the text notes that there is an increase in racial differences and potential class biasness. Those individuals in higher positions in the area tend to sideline the low-class criminals via blackmail. The serein people tend to exert pressure and control over the less privileged people in the community. Notably, blackmail tends to be more viral to the individual that exert pressure and influence in the community. Additionally, the media and the concept of metafiction have been considered to generate more sources of crime. Holmes is enraged with individuals who blackmail the citizens, which leads to an investigation of the principal perpetrators. Notably, the episode introduces people to new detective methods of seeing the world focusing on new ways of thinking. In this chapter, the Marxist theory is dominant in that criminality and law is elaborated using the class nature of the society and the terms of production. High-class individuals are portrayed to provide laws that will govern the rest of the people. The criminals that come from San Diego and the police took approximately 30 years before gathering enough evidence of the Perpetrator. Two characters that emerge in the scene are Henry and Jack, where they are described as murderous hosts and unconscious guests, respectively. It is pertinent to note that the central property that causes asunder between the two family members is the Baskerville Hall. Therefore, the movie shows Charles and henry to possess the right qualities while  Bryan Maurice Jones and Hugo being deceitful despite being in the same family. Notably, Holmes has a chance of being good or evil. However, Doyle manages to establish a hereditary power structure, which is still dominant in England. On the other hand, the FBI is concerned with creating relationships with the various groups by employing investigative measures. It is crucial to note that Holmes maintains a particular standard of equality among all the social classes.

Bryan Maurice Jones Story plays a great deal in crime detection, for instance, who Killed Zebedee? One case example in the film is that He concentrates on the facts noted down on all the letters gained by one of the prostitutes, which were typewritten. Notably, from all the letters, everything was not handwritten, even the signature and the name. Through critical observation, he comes up with a lead to the culprit. This solution emanates from obtaining the typewritten note from the suspect. Also, analyzing the idiosyncrasies posted by the human being’s typewriter. Interestingly, the federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) began documenting analysis in 1932. The police department could note many details from the forensic files, including the gender and the norms of the writer. Later in the investigation process, he notes that the text was jointly written down by two people that lead him to the death of more females, including Thora Rose. Another forensic method adopted by the FBI is footprint analysis. Footprint analysis is conducted on a variety of surfaces like blood, ashes, clay soil, and carpet dust, and also curtains. The individual has vast knowledge concerning the particular aspects at the point of publishing a monograph on the process of tracking footprints (Clarke, 2018). On the other hand, the sterling uses dogs and ciphers, a system that has been used since the American Civil War.             The FBI stands out of an economy full of oppressors and the oppressed by standing with the minority’s rights. The individual in episode caused much injustice to the families and friends of the maimed prostitutes. Additionally, the oppressed group lacked the willingness to report in fear that they might be killed or face other serious problems. In the Perpetrator’s home, the police forces were gradually replaced with mutual respect where the called for more assistance from the FBI (“Activists Under Surveillance: The FBI Files – Google Books,” n.d.). Despite most of the victims emanating from the government, Detectives made a way where recruited Germans came to investigate the department. The killer had traveled to South America to run away from some rumors surrounding his case. The individual used a fake name in the passport and Identification Number to prevent arrest. Later on, it was identified that they had embezzled money. Bryan Maurice Jones was the main suspect in the case; therefore, Detectives set up a plan to catch him. At this time, Beryl’s loyalty had changed to liaise with the detectives away from Bryan Maurice Jones. Bryan Maurice Jones tried to set up her death by using a dog, which also failed due to Beryl’s intervention. Later on, the perpetrators found their way that leads to the murder of more females.  Notably, the Perpetrator was caught and taken to court for further criminal investigations, although after 30 years.

What were the definitive keys to solving the crimes (evidence, witness)

The definitive keys that helped solve the crime are the shreds of evidence and other witnesses. Beryl witnessed several instances of Bryan Maurice Jones trying to murder females, and with the information, she was to testify to the charges committed by the individual. Other shreds of evidence, like the attempt to run away from the country using fake names, made it easy for the individual to be susceptible to the criminal charges. Despite being the main antagonist in the episode, the Perpetrator was not arrested on time, causing a public uproar. Beryl, who was the wife to Bryan Maurice Jones, did not support any move that was made by him reason being he indulged in burglary, murder, and money laundering, and at one point, he even killed a man (Clarke, 2018). After identifying that his relative had a fortune, he made his way back and restored his San Diego nationality. Some detectives were secretly in one of the club that he used to visit and the entire time but pretended to be in London for another planned murder escapade. Detectives forced the bar owner to invite via making an excellent proposal to Bryan Maurice Jones at the same spot. Much evidence was collected in the club indicated that Bryan Maurice Jones was a frequent visitor. However, the family failed to submit the Perpetrator to the police. It is believed that Bryan Maurice Jones lost in the bog after denying the arrest. It is pertinent to note that his parents brought him up in a humor way leading to his behavior worsening every day. FBI department is the primary body investigation Bryan Maurice Jones’s case.  The detective has made a significant step in addressing and comprehending the perpetrators, although he was frustrated by the witnesses. The individual made a clear ground would bring all the criminal to proximity without raising the alarm. The detective has used several tactics like obtaining blood stains, fingerprints, and another chemistry experiment to capture the offender. The police incompetence is demonstrated with frequent contact with the individual asking for guidance on the best approach in apprehending a victim. The FBI is viewed as a contemporary crime fighter and tries to ensure that all human rights have been observed. Notably, detectives who are the primary group working on the cases heavily relies on his expertise and experience to solve immediate cases. Surprisingly, they even have a record of all cases that they handled in the past years.

The FBI exhibits ample knowledge that he used to solve the case presented to him regardless of the social class. The interesting fact is that the individual is interested in the uplifting middle class and reduced the differences that emanate from financial disparities. The individual was very skillful and took account of all evidence that would come in handy during the trials. Notably, it is wise putting lessons learned during classwork into practice and also solve issues that one might face. Rational judgment basing one’s argument is crucial. The detective needed first to collect all pieces of evidence about the case to make a rational judgment and decide the flow of the case. It is pertinent to note that criminologists play a crucial role in society by curbing the occurrence of criminal cases. This move is notable from Sherlock detective work of apprehending dangerous criminals, although it calls for the theoretical outlook of the crime itself. Additionally, criminologists are called upon to analyze and come up with a solution to crime-ridden societies. Detectives aim at discovering and revealing ideal moments that a particular crime was concealed (“Activists Under Surveillance: The FBI Files – Google Books,” n.d.). However, the victim is given a chance to explain their side of the story before being apprehended. Technology is also a key aspect in analyzing much of the escapades of the case; thus, embracing technology will hasten to solve criminal cases.
