South Asia was attractive to other nations because of it’s well known treasures and wealth; therefore, other countries were interested in trading whatever they had with the residents of South Asia. As a result of the traders and scholars coming in, political, cultural, and religious influences started to emerge, the more the foreigners stayed, they influenced the occupants of southern Asia with their different lifestyle, which was quite attractive to the people of South Asia. The people of South Asia adapted the foreign culture and religion, which later spread throughout the nation from the coastal regions to the other areas. The idea of South Asia having not only wealth but also wisdom became an excellent destination for traders and scholars. Its many marvels attracted people from all over the world .its treasures attracted traders who interior side’s .this activities resulted in hundreds of different dialect being spoken in India today.

South Asia became a crossroad for language, culture, and religion as traders met to carry out their trading activities.Southeast Asia happened to be where individuals who came from other nations to trade, goods, ideas from various areas, religious views, and knowledge carried on their practice there. The Hinduism rule was politically beneficial to the local leaders as it maintained legitimacy concerning their time as leaders of the Indian communities.

Buddhism, on the other hand, developed over centuries, and with time, it was regarded as more appealing to the population despite other religions existing Buddhism was still more attractive because it was on demand.Buddhism was on the market because the general population believed that the needed a concrete affair .the ruling empire at that time was determined to give the general population its claim; therefore, he sent monks on a mission to spread the belief of Buddhism abroad.

Generally, as a result of the interactions with different traders, new ideas were acquired, and others cross to other regions, for instance, skills such as the use of metal wear crossed over to other nations as the south Asian population adapted different religions and cultures. Religious ideas were adopted and spread throughout the South Asian regions in return; southern Asia sent missionaries abroad to spread their faith, which being Buddhism. Islam religion got spread to Africa from South Asia. South Asia also traded its treasures as it was wealthy, rich with treasures such as many elephants, diamonds, pearls, perfumes, and rose essence.

In conclusion, south Asia became more lavish in terms of religion as it adapted Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism.it also acquired skills such as; craftsmanship and metalwork, which helped them grow economically .and financially.

South Asia developed as trade increased over time as traders extended their stay and learned their culture to understand each other.
