stages of life
The entire life cycle of the challenger is full of problems. First, the politics of bureaucracy played its part and wholly ignored alternative design ideas. Information regarding the design issues was misunderstood and lost in communication. Then there was a lack of training for the crew, and they did not know about the potential problems. The transmission of NASA and the team of the challengers were not efficient. The lack of testing of design prototypes and converting a testing vehicle to a full-scale shuttle was a significant problem in the lifecycle of the challenger. The decision making was very nonprofessional by NASA. The last challenge in the lofe of the challenger was the culture of NASA of going ahead with unsafe design and traditional designs. Nontechnical management was taking all the decisions.
