My enthrallment with the subject started with studying Environmental Science in the primary classes that grew over the years. In high school, I got acquainted with the fundamentals of Electricity and basic ideas of electronics that developed my fascination in the field to an extent as to solidify my decision to pursue my career in this field and hence started to prepare according to it. After successful completion of high school, I pursued my under graduation in Electronics and Electrical Engineering that provided me knowledge in several captivating topics on electrical motors, power generation methods as well as electronic equipment and environmental engineering. Besides, in my fourth year of Engineering I studied about renewable energy and different technologies related to it. Acquiring extensive knowledge in the Management and Engineering subjects developed my confidence to pursue Renewable Energy in higher education and build my career in it.

Further, my engagement with my father’s business fostered an ambition to be an entrepreneur in future and establish a company in the area of renewable energy. This led me to discuss my life-objective with my elder brother, who is also an electronics engineer and an MBA. Looking at my determination and qualification, my brother motivated me to pursue my masters abroad considering the practice-based education and opportunity to gain global exposure. Working in our family business enhanced my decision-making skills as well as communication and managerial skills and grew self-assurance to set up my production company. Also, I have attended many seminars on the usage and benefits of renewable energy. Besides that, in the second year of engineering, I set up a small workshop at my home. I try to design some circuits and small toy vehicles and robots which run on lithium-powered batteries and solar energies. Currently, I am working on how to generate small electricity from saltwater. Additionally, I am working with the local councillor in tree implantation and cleaning of local ponds and roads with scientific methods.

This will enhance my technical skills and at the same time, enable me to implement my strategies and technical expertise for the development of the organisation, thus boosting my confidence to establish my own company.

My long-lasting desire is to open my own company which will deal on waste management and power generation from renewable sources in India as well as in other countries. We will collaborate with other organisations and government agencies for producing electricity from renewable energy sources. Besides that the waste management section of the organization will introduce some innovative technologies to convert non-biodegradable wastes into biodegradable wastes which will also work as a source of power generation. My dream is to set-up a research & development department in my organisation where the scientists can flourish their talents in innovating different techniques for generating power from renewable energy and in other areas. For that, my next academic pursuit will be doctoral courses on renewable or sustainable energy engineering. If the organisation comes into existence, then it will not only create employment opportunities in India but also it will serve the purposes in the interest of good of humankind.
