REASONS WHY IMMIGRANTS COME TO AMERICA

There are several reasons why individuals immigrate to the United States. The major reasons include a search for better opportunities, escaping violence of war from home country, pursuing education and scholarship programs, seeking employment, reuniting with family members who are already living in America. The United States is a preferred destination for various individuals because it has a stable and high economy.
Reasons
America enables various immigrants to use opportunity available for them to develop economic strategies. Despite the positive reasons for immigrating into the United States some negative aspects exist such as illegal immigration by drug barons to get cheap labor, prostitutes to work in their cartels. Some of these people turn into criminals who terrorize innocent citizens in America.
The United States is considered to be the land of opprtunity for various individuals across the world. The opprtunities has made determined people to find their way into the United States to achieve various dreams in life. People immigrate into the United States for both positive and negative reason. The United States is considered to be a world power and most people behave that it is heaven on earth with opportunities beyond the limit; this subject is a matter of an individual’s determination to pursue the best out of life. The American currency is stronger than most of the world economies, this makes a dollar a stronger currency which attracts various people such as investors, businessmen and others (Bingham, Brianna A., et al. 265). The education programs in the United States are the best and individuals in pursuit of best education immigrate to the country to study and become successful individuals in the society.
America offers employment opportunities of various levels, this enables people to come into the country, acquire work permits and they get employment. Most people prefer working in America because financial returns which are compared to their home countries will make them well off. Individuals immigrate into the United States to work and get income. Some people migrate into the United States for business purposes (Piquero, Alex, et al. 1417). American society offers high profile consumers of foreign products several immigrants come to exploit the business opportunities either by selling products from their original country or participating in general merchandise.
Most individuals who immigrate into the United States escape the harsh conditions in their home nations. Either through winning visa lottery or formal processing of visa, foreigners can move away from negative conditions existing in their home countries to seek the land of opportunities. The immigration has been seen before where various third world countries communities live in America after fleeing violence and war conflict from their home nations. There are other people who win lotteries which enable them to immigrate into the country.
Some individuals migrate into the country because of the lifestyle and political status, American territories are considered to be safe and protected, these make various stable people to immigrant into the United States for enjoy the freedom and happiness. Despite the fact that most immigrants come for a positive reason, some of them do so for negative reasons. A lot of drug barons and associates across the United States border to establish and extend their illegal business (Lagakos, David, et al. 324). Such cartels make millions of dollars while leaving human lives at risks of addiction, infections, and death. Drug peddling and trafficking in common business among various gangs across the United States. The effects related to immigration and drugs plus illegal business are imposing negative factors among American society.
Various individuals immigrate to evade execution which is based on race, nationality, membership, religion social reasons and political reasons. During such situations individuals to satisfy the criteria of being refugees in the United States are always given that opportunity (Knight, Margy Burns. 78). There also individuals who become victims of environmental factors catastrophe such as natural disasters and erosion displaces people who some of them eventually find their way in the United States. Scientist reveals that roughly one billion individuals will be displaced in the coming fifty years if climatic conditions continue to get worse.
Other people come to the United States to seek for healthcare which is superior, some countries have limited access to quality healthcare hence move to the United States to seek better situations which will support them to have a longest healthy life. Poor countries citizens come to America to evade the poverty that exists in their home countries. Considerably this may top the list of reason why immigrants come to US (Orrenius, Pia., & Roberto Coronado 23). Some families move to the United States together with their children to provide them with better opportunities. Dream is because the United States has abundant work opportunism and also provides a superior education for the scholars. Education in the United States is of high quality and enables the full impact of knowledge in students, and the reason why some families opt to migrate with their children to the country to expose them to these conditions as part of excellent bring up and parenting.
Some individuals immigrate into America to reunite with their family members. There are various individuals who are located in several countries for work reasons, eventually, after making their fortunes, they prefer to move to united states with their family for the best late-life experience. Such individuals spend the better part of their working life traveling across nations and eventually setting at the country (Duncan, Brian, & Stephen 115). The United States offers educational scholarships across the world such adventure attract foreign performing students to immigrate into America to pursue their studies. The American system provides quality education that assists in bringing up competent professionals across various work environments this also attracts immigrants.
Globalization support operations across various states, multinational companies exploiting such opportunities send some of their staff to work from offices based in the United States, this provides an opportunity for immigration.
Individuals with expert knowledge seek for job opportunism in the US which they eventually get due to their track records. Such individuals immigrate into America to exploit the rich employment opportunities. There are others who come for business purposes to exploit the market availability in America which is high compared to their home countries (Orrenius, Pia., & Roberto Coronado 23). Such people contribute to the economic growth of both countries in terms of business profits. Interracial marriages and related associations across the continents have enabled various people to find their true love among American citizens; such persons are allowed to eventually become American citizens. Some individuals come to the United States to seek refuge so they seek asylum to avoid being executed or killed in their home countries.
Another reason why individuals keep immigrating to the United States is that its history is rooted and related to immigration (Smith, James 193). For several years America has opened its doors to various individuals who are seeking freedom associated with politics and religion. The immigrants helped in the building of America in the first place while making it have various cultures thus offer freedom.
