The spread of drug abuse is a disaster that is affecting most countries around the globe. Various reasons cause drug addiction. Some people experiment with the drug as a recreation driven by their curiosity. The result is the person becomes an addict. At times the affected person tends to have an overdose of the drug. The excessive use of the drug is a form of drug abuse. The use of drugs for recreational should be avoided because they lead to addiction and leaves the user with impairments

Some medicines contain very high content that weakens one immune system. When a drug abuser continuously uses a drug for a while, he becomes an addict. When one gets to the addict level, it becomes tough to stay without the requirement of the drug. Some addicts spend so much on the medication as they cannot leave without it. Some medications are injected directly into someone’s body. The sharing of needles leads to the transfer of diseases such as HIV/AIDS.
