Kristina Andr has been in the field of nursing profession and started practicing nursing long since, and it is over 20 years now. Kristina who is the Practitioner Nurse is licensed and at the same time has been certified by the Board as a Nurse Practitioner ever since she graduated with a VCU’s Master’s Course at the end of the year 2002. Kristina Andr has extensive professional expertise in surgical operation procedure, emergency medical care to the sick, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary ailments, and gastrointestinal and endocrine health issues. Also, she is a Certified Educator for Diabetes and is certified by the Board in the management of Advanced Diabetes. She has been through with a 2-year Association in Integrative Medicine from the Arizona University and is now taking classes on Herbal Medicine in Charlottesville through Sacred Plant Traditions, VA. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the American Botanical Council, the American Herbalist Guild and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
Kristina Andr received the Advanced Practice Award in Internal Expert Consultant in 2012 for VCU’s Medical Center. Besides, she lectures students in the nursing School of VCU, VCU’s Medical School, the Virginia’s Nurse Practitioners Council plus a variety of neighboring healthcare events.
