Advice on industry/organization management

Jenna being a hardworking lady in the company should actually have given more chances in the company or even promoted but instead she is fired. This actually shows lack of ethics while dealing with employees. Due to this harassment, Jenna being an intelligent employee should go ahead and seek help from her close supervisor who well knows her commitment   in the company and hence explain to him the challenges she is passing through. This may lead to the solving of the problems with the top management hence she get another chance to work for the company. I would make efforts to get reach of the head personnel of the company and talk to them on various issues concerning the matter of Jenna and also others outside the matter. Some of these issues may be as follows; the importance and working capacity of Jenna in the company, reviewing of reasons and process followed to fire Jenna out of the company and how the top management should be involved in knowing the performance of employees. This will make the head personnel to recognize the importance of Jenna in the company sand may lead to her being given another chance in the company. The characters of the head supervisor do not match those of a good leader. This shows that if the head supervisor was allowed to head the company its activities will not go in the required manner due to these characters.

Response: Jenna should seek assistance from her close supervisor who will hence communicate her issues to the top management for her to get another chance.

Employees’ morale is a very essential aspect in any organization for better performance. To improve the morale of employees some of the aspects to be considered may include the following; giving presents, incentives and even promotions to employees. This will eventually encourage them to work hard hence improve the company’s performance. To make this efficient you have to approach the supervisor in kind manner. I will explain to him or her the importance and the good outcomes of motivating employees. I have to give him the different methods of employee motivation and the best ones to implement. I will also educate him or her on how to carry out division of labor to enhance efficiency. Each employee should be assigned duties on the specific areas which they are better in to increase work quality. Standardization should also be employed in order to avoid assigning certain employee much task than others. This will ensure faster performing of duties. I will suggest that the company implements division of labor of labor according to area of specialization and not to offer heavy duties on a single worker to minimize time consumed to carry out duties.

Response: The Company should implement proper ways of motivating the employees in periodically to encourage them.

Work overloading should not be applied on an employee because this can lead to tiresome and other negative effects. Work should be evenly distributed the employees. Heavy duties subjected to an employee can make him or her to hate her duties leading to poor performance. This can also lead to the employee lack good cooperation with the rest of the employees by feeling that he or she is being tormented by the management. I will suggest to the supervisor to ensure that work is evenly distributed.

Response: Employees should be assigned duties according to their capability to avoid overstretching them.

Respect is very important in any working environment in order to make well running of the activities. Roy hence should respect the fellow employees and avoid any situations which may lead to conflicts with fellow employees. He should use respectful language when communicating to the rest of co-workers. The industries supervisor should call Roy to his office and talk to him in concern with the issue. The supervisor should tell Roy what he is supposed to behave to the fellow workers. The supervisor should not fire Roy because he has been working for the company for many years and that shows loyalty. Roy should be taught on the benefits of respect.

Response: Certain rules should be made in the organization to control the behavior of the workers especially on opposite gender.

Friendship and socializing is not inhibited ion any working environment but to some condition it may not be allowed for example if it interferes with the working ethics of the company. Brian should not respond harshly on the vendor’s reaction but instead try to make good arrangements on how to carry out their businesses. If this does not work well Brian should go ahead and report the case to his seniors in order to avoid interruption of his duties. This is so because this can to some extend lead to him being fired if it is against the ethics of the company. It would sound better if they carry out this when it is not work times to avoid interruption of duties.

Response: The Company is supposed to come up with strategies to safeguard the rights and wellbeing of the employees.

Supervisor should be in good capacity to solve issue affecting their juniors. Brian’s supervisor should have done his best to solve the issue. He should even have considered the vendors supervisor and discuss the same issue with her. This would help to make Brian more settled. Brian’s supervisor should even go ahead and talk to the vendor to cease that character. A company should also have devised certain laws to deal with such kind of issues. This would ensure better solving of the issue because the laws form the basis.

Response: The supervisor should not just leave some issues for his juniors to carry out on their own like he advised Brian. He should offer his assistance.

Poor performance companies and industries may be caused by various factors. In the company low and poor performance is caused by lack of coordination among the employees and also lack of proper commitment in the duties due to poor supervision. I will make appointments with the staff first to talk on their issues and gather more information about the employees from their seniors. I will still go ahead and meet the employees to talk to about coordination and commitment to their work in order to attain their goals. Finally, I will advice the supervisors to offer good supervision to the juniors. I will also encourage the management to organize training sessions for the employees to gain more knowledge in their respective fields.

Response: The Company should be in a position to determine what is causing them to perform poorly and then implement decisions to improve like enhancing coordination.

In order for any organization to run in good manner conflict should be avoided and dealt with in an efficient manner. The employer should try as much as she can to avoid such conflict. Being a very productive employee ought to be respected for the benefit of the company. She is supposed to call the employee in her office and solve the issue individually. This is so because both will tend to understand each in a better way than when dealt within a group.

Response: The employer should deal with such cases privately because they don’t affect all the employees.

For organizations to run smoothly they should be under various laws. There is this law which is emerging which prohibits employers from firing employees within less than six months notice. This will tend to make the employees no to well follow some of the defined laws. This will result because the employees take the advantage of these six months were they can search a search in another organization. I would suggest this period to be reduced to two months.

Response: A better law which favors both parties should be implemented to reduce conflict between employer and employee.
