More women are joining the bodybuilding and muscle-strengthening bandwagon. And it is reasonable to be curious about the effects of bodybuilding on your sex drive. Do female bodybuilders experience a drop in libido?

At first glance, it may seem plausible because while the number may be increasing, it is still low. It is easier to think that females who want what was traditionally seen as male characteristics have a low sex drive.

Female bodybuilders, like any other female, have fluctuating libido. It is also tricky because some have reported an increase while others said their sexual desire reduced.
