approaches that I will use in building the relationship between the community and ABC Animal Rescue
In contemporary society, leadership skills are very crucial in both personal and professional development. In every community, organization leadership plays an essential function of management which assist people or business in maximizing efficiently to achieve the set goals. ABC Animal Rescue works with volunteers and other community members. For these members to function effectively, there is a need for establishing a relationship and trust between the ABC Animal Rescue and the community. The board of directors requested me to mingle in the building the relationship and trust with the community. So, there are different approaches that I will use in building the relationship between the community and ABC Animal Rescue.
To build a relationship and trust with the community and volunteers, I will organize to meet-ups where during the meeting, I will be friendly and establish a connection with the members. In the sessions, I will ensure that I ask them questions, which makes them comfortable and listen to them keenly and appreciate them. Additionally, sharing about myself concerning the things that I can most about and my opinion about common issues. This will help in building trust in the members. Additionally, I will ask them to voluntarily discuss their selves too, which helps in creation, not a connection leading to a stronger relationship. Accepting the volunteer and the local community members just the way they are. It does not mean that I have to agree with them all the time to establish a relationship, but it gives a platform for them to be themselves hence establish and trust and connection.
Further, sociologist state that it takes some time to win people’s trust hence through persistence on sharing information about the information will help in depriving people’s shyness and suspiciousness meaning that at last there will be a significant relationship between the community members and the organization. Moreover, ensuring that the members are involved in setting the organization’s goals and objectives, helps in making the people feel important to the organization. Through being strategic transparent in every process and communication by allowing them to give opinions in decision making. This helps in building trust and relationships between the community members, volunteers,, and the organization.
Being a genuine leader with integrity and ensuring that I behave in a manner that is consistent with words and values will help the volunteers in believing in the organization’s values and directions. By providing that there is the focus in the meetings and keep of speed helps in showing the people that the organization has the ability to effectively using scarce resources and focusing on the pertinent and avoiding of inhibiting distractions. At the end of the meetings, there will be a great relationships and trust between the employees and ABC Animal Rescue.
In conclusion, for any organization to effectively function, it has to establish a close relationship and win trust with its employees. For the ABC Animal Rescue, it has to have a great connection with the local community members and the volunteers. Through organization for meetings with them and being friendly to them, allowing them to be themselves as well as showing integrity, genuineness have of focus will help in establishing a secure connection and trust with the organization. Additionally, allowing the members to have a say in the decision-making process of the organization makes people feel they are essential in the organization. They are hence achieving a great relationship and trust between the organization and the members.
