Ergonomics is the study of people’s efficiency in their working environment and their homes. It is the science of fitting jobs to individuals who work in them to help reduce ergonomic stress and eliminate many potential disorders. Experts of ergonomics and Ergonomists add to the plan and assessment of tasks, occupations, items products, environment, and systems to make them compatible with the needs, abilities and limitations of the users. Poor posture in our workplaces or homes can cause many hazards to our health like causing digestive issues, breathing problems and back pains. It is, therefore, advisable to control these bad postures before they cause severe problems to our bodies. Many of these weak positions are caused by our daily activities such as sitting at the office chairs staring at the computer for an extended period. Sitting with recommended posture is one among the best-known ways one can use to improve position while at work (Dul et al, 2015) the following guideline suggests how this can be achieved to improve on positioning or movement while at workplaces.
