Personality Test
A personality test refers to the assessment method for the personality constructs making a human being. Personality tests are crucial in giving great insight into the true nature of an individual. The definition of personality is obtained from the ability of an individual to interact with the world and the people around them. Personality is also defined according to the way an individual can bounce back after tragic events maybe due to relationship problems or feelings. I recently undertook two personality tests; “who am I” test and a persona bubble online to assess my personality.
“Who am I” is a visual DNA test that gives a lot of fun and is useful in assessing the personality of an individual. The test helps in knowing more about oneself and can help one to live a life that is free from unnecessary friction and full of happiness. Although the test is capable of uncovering qualities that an individual is unhappy with, information is given concerning the things that need to be changed. The questions asked in the test are short answer ones that require selecting pictures that reflect the activities that an individual is always involved in doing each day. The first question requires an individual to choose a picture, which according to their opinion represents their personality. The selection of the picture opens the window for the next question that opens a series of questions concerning one’s daily activities. The results from the ‘Who am I’ test showed that I was highly neurotic. My personality goes hand in hand with my character of reacting emotionally and intensively to events that would otherwise require a minimal reaction. The results also upheld my character of being a reservist and preferring to spend time alone.
A persona bubble test helps in assessing the inner character of an individual. The traits assessed by a persona bubble include the flexibility and sensitivity of an individual. The assessment of an individual’s characteristics requires keen consideration of an individual’s current behavior and the reaction towards certain events. The initial stage of the bubble test is the introduction where the individual is required to give the age and gender. The requirement and gender could be possibly required to assess the individual’s capability in decision making and choosing the right tests to do on them. The interview involves conducting an interview on a client with information being recorded on income, country of residence, religious and political affiliation, and the current age of the participant. The results obtained reveal that I almost have the same level of character traits. Openness, extraversion, agreeability, neuroticism, and conscientiousness give a school of around fifty percent. The results seem to agree with the results obtained from the “Who am I” test.
The results from the different tests reveal different traits that I had not known to be having. For example, I had not thought that my preference for spending time alone was evident and had always tried to keep it secret. The “Who am I” test is simple and is not involving. The individual is only expected to click some images that are used to reveal their personalities. The second test is however too involving and individuals could give up quickly due to the time required to fill all the required fields. The test could be better if the number of questions were reduced.
