LLM personal statement
Having law work experience and tremendous human interaction will give me a chance to debate among the best attorneys and stand a chance.
Am currently working as a secretary in an immigration firm which is in Canada. Being here and handling this position has developed my communication skills and helped me learn how to handle humans under different shadows of emotions. Have had an opportunity to observe the way people work out their daily routines, how they work under pressured circumstances and calm situations. As a secretary have been given a chance to initiate team work among firm employers and have developed negotiation skills having to bring together varying views of different employers into corporation and make them sound as views from people who work under the same section.
I have a postgraduate in human resource management as well and from the knowledge have obtained from it am confident to say that analyzing and solving what problem a person is in is one of my top layer concerns. It has given me the intellect that I need to learn about policies enforcement and all it takes, my team building skills have been developed with this knowledge too and enhancing a broad communication pattern in a formal forum has been tangled under this degree and helped me too.
In my current work position people have admired how I do my work and the way I put my responsibilities into a workable line. Been recognized to have exceptional skills through the style of solving issues that I use and the extraordinary capabilities have portrayed when it comes to understanding people in a deeper perspective and overlooking the prejudices anyone may demonstrate. This kind of response even from strangers has pushed me to embraced my interested in law since I have learned my potentials and being able to deal with people in a high level strategy I believe I can be an effective individual when it comes to law matters and dealing with legal policies.
Am a foreign trained lawyer and am seeking admission in the University of Vancouver so that I be able to get to have a chance to pursue Masters in Law and develop my law skills to a higher level that the evolving society requires. Being in the university will also give me my undying desire to implement the lawyer skills and knowledge that I have so far through practicing more than in the theory form. Putting everything I know practically will help me get to know the areas that am weak at and the strengths that I have when it comes to tackling people and determining how just situations are.
The society that we stay today has evolved in its structure and a lot of what we used to hold as moral, evil and just has been intertwined through theories and false proven facts. So some of us want to change the society, make it survival if not better and defend a generation that is too fragile, too young , too poor and even save the rich with a guilty dirty falsely thrown at them.
Getting an admission is a matter of saving a future that I have held in my goals. Getting this opportunity will not only help me career wise but also am sure through the learning process I will achieve a lot as an individual and help with my growth.
