Also, I have three legal reasons to reduce the use of credit cards on the internet.

Because we don’t know if the store or the responsibility one stored or not our personal data such as address and more important is our credit card details. If this happens, we don’t know what happens next is our data will be leak and how much money we lose after this happens. If this happens, a thief will easily use the credit card information to buy anything they want. As a result, we should pay, and kind of hard to request a refund from the credit card company, based on the data 15% credit card details are saved by the people who do not have permission and 13% from it is used already by the thief. The number of data is all around the world, especially in the united states, because most of the stolen credit cards case is happening in the united states. So I can say from this data that the use of credit cards in online shopping is quite a risk, your data will easily leak out without you knowing it by non-responsible people.
Secondly, there is another option instead of using a credit card for payment. Most of the merchant or online shop charge or provide different payment methods such as bank transfer or money senders like western union or even cash on delivery which mean the buyer will pay only if the items they ordered is at their door. So about these other options, people will prevent thief or cybercrime such as leak of personal data or credit card data than can lead to losing money. These options, even though leaked by the criminal, the information that leaked out will cannot use to purchase anything over the internet because that option needs manual identification from the corresponded owner. And also, this payment option does not have a lot of fees, just like a credit card. Banks will charge only for a massive amount of transactions, different from credit cards. Even just a small amount of transaction credit card will keep charging a customer a fee. Moreover, a lot of banks giving out the client discount when they are using bank account as their payment method, such as 50% discount or other cut price and also the client will get more benefit from the bank itself. Although people still use their credit cards over the internet. They even do not know the dangerous effect of this, and they will realize once they found out the result by themselves and started wondering about the hazardous impact of using a credit card over the internet.
Thirdly, if thieves already steal your credit cards, you will get a lot of trouble. For example, the thieves can duplicate your credit card number and information, and they use it for personal pleasure like buying an item with your credit card or maybe sell the credit card that leads you into a real problem if that happens. They can also do a lot worse than that, probably use your data such as name address to make a crime, and then you will get trouble from police that you did not even know what is the problem is. Even though this matter can be fixed when that happened, but we should not let this happen. It is like a waste of money waste of time, so that is why a little problem may have a probability to become a big problem if you did not prevent it from the start. Credit cards good to use over the internet but awareness is much essential, and you should know what you do with your credit card like lookout for the website you maybe want to use your credit cards in it look if that is scam or not do they secure enough to do transaction with or perhaps just a scam page to steal your information. Moreover, it would help if you were careful when you were surfing on the internet because not all website is secure to open that will lead you to data leak by the hacker or internet thief.
In conclusion, there is a lot of credit cards fraud case, people not knowing enough the important thing to prevent from data stolen by a thief. They should think twice before use credit cards on the internet to buy an item, scammer or hacker will have a lot of ways to steal your data, and you should use internet wise as possible.
