Belonging to a well-cultured and educated family, my parents have always encouraged me to study and do well in life. With my positive and hard-working attitude, I passed Matriculation (10th) with 7.0 CGPA in the year 2010 and Senior Secondary School (12th) in commerce stream with 60% of marks in 2012 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). I also received a scholarship from the External Affairs Spouses Association. Further, I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration degree program (Gold medalist) with CPI 78.53 in the year 2015 from Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. I possess leadership quality as I was Class Representative at both School & University level and participated in Dramatics.

Then, in October 2015, I got an opportunity to work with a company BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon as a Senior Team Member; it is a nonbank subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation with 2.5 years of experience. Also, I managed to get promoted within 18 months, joining. Throughout my tenure, I realized that the commitment and hard work is the key to personal growth. However, one needs to have an appropriate professional qualification to excel in life.

Moreover, with time, I realized that when your passion becomes your profession, then the success in any arena turns out to be joyful and effortless. With this belief, I have always planned and executed my life towards pre-determined goals. My prevailing interest in Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy as subjects was significant, and it was my ardent desire to study in a foreign institute for a professional career.

Now, the dream has grown up a size larger than before, and I am conscious about my future. Accordingly, I thought to pursue my higher education in the same field, and I found that International Accounting and Analytics—Pathway A is quite a lucrative field to fulfil my wishes. To work with multinational companies, it is essential to have a good profile. Therefore, I decided to study this program from overseas to gain higher professional qualification to avail better opportunities in this sector in India and abroad. I have chosen industry with high salary, good future and growth prospects. I believe that I have a strong base of academics, and I realized that there is a lot more to be explored in making a good career.

My parent’s support is amiable, and with their confidence in me, I have decided to pursue my MSc in International Accounting and Analytics—Pathway A.

After a lot of online research, I got to know a lot of details of studying overseas, and I started comparing the countries for the cost of education, living costs, visa success rate, and duration of course, etc.

I finally decided to study in Ireland, as it has a very high level of education and there is a strong international reputation for master’s degrees from Ireland, the living expenses are affordable when compared to other countries. I believe that a master degree in Ireland is more beneficial than in India and an international qualification and exposure is advantageous. Universities and colleges in Ireland are more technologically advanced will offer a superior education system.

I am delighted to pursue International Accounting and Analytics—Pathway A (MSc), one year program from NUI Galway is an innovative programme that will provide me with an excellent understanding of all the skills and knowledge that are used in accounting and finance. It is also an ACCA to accelerate the programme.

I see myself actively engaged in a career involving my field of interests and which would be well channelized by the graduate coursework at your esteemed institute. After completing my course, I will come back to my country, as I have to look after my family and property in India. This qualification with international exposure would make me noticeable among the probable. Over the past few years, ACCA certified job opportunities have increased exponentially. With the development of MNCs and Big 4 companies, there has been an increase in jobs for ACCA professionals. As a graduate of the MSc. in International Accounting and Analytics, I will be having access to numerous employment opportunities in Accounting Practice, Industry, Management Consultancy and Financial Services.

There is a growing demand for International Accounting and Analytics professionals as more and more companies migrate to this international standard. To meet the increasing demand, institutes like Indian companies are increasingly recruiting professionals with knowledge and experience of IAA along with their accounts and finance degrees. Hence, finance professionals who wish to excel in their careers in finance should consider taking up the IAA course and with ACCA certification to improve their career prospects. I am confident that I would undoubtedly fulfil all these expectations and requirements to prove myself worthy to this program.
