I am indeed healthy. My circulatory system, which comprises of the heart, the lungs and the blood vessels, works properly. I usually have the right heartbeats, the average blood pressure among others. To maintain the same, I will continue doing physical exercises that are meant to burn any excess calories and fats as well as boost the heart to pump blood through the body.

Cardiovascular diseases are caused by a complex of factors. These include diet, exercises, and genes inherited from parents. Therefore, Tanya may have a heart problem. Cold sweat and shortness of breath are symptoms of a heart attack. What is unusual, however, is that she does exercise and is always in a good diet.

Tanya’s case of extreme thirst and urinating many times is incontinence. She thought that having the urge to urinate could be caused by aging because as one ages, it becomes hard to hold urine in the bladder. Causes of diabetes insipidus include brain damage or tumor destroying the hypothalamus which controls the release of anti-diuretic hormone. This hormone is responsible for the speed at which water is released from the body.

Energy drinks provide energy to the body, making them suitable after workouts. In an 8-ounce drink, Monster contains 121g of calories while Red Bull has 112g. Similarly, it has 29g carbohydrates while Red Bull has 27g. In terms of caffeine, Monster has 85g while Red Bull has 75g. 5-hour ENERGY has only 4 calories but rich in vitamin B6 and B12, caffeine, and taurine. Using such information, Tanya should take Monster because it has higher calories and carbohydrates needed for maximum energy. Healthier energy should be free from caffeine and sugar.

Gene therapy is ethical because it is done on will. However, it may cross the ‘unethical’ research if humans will be used to experiment with the technique. Moreover, there might be risks to a procedure and thus, care must be taken until the strategy has been improved. In its infancy stages, gene therapy may not be used to treat people because of the risks associated with it.

Although genetics have a great role in shaping a human’s behavior, the environment has a greater control. However, based on the study, genetics have a bigger role in human behavior than the environment. This is because the twins separated at birth usually have the same attitudes, behaviors and other emotional well-being. For example, I can see similarities in my siblings such as emotions and certain behaviors.

People should be allowed to access the direct-to-consumer genetic testing because it helps people to know their genetic diseases. One can access information based on genetic traits, risks, and probable diseases. Thus, one can seek treatment options before a disease strikes. On the other hand, invalid tests can be misleading because one may take proactive measures to fight a disease that will not occur.

The techniques use depended and independent variables to measure data. Essentially, research is conducted to obtain valuable information that can be used by society. I personally like research because it enlightens as one identifies trends and patterns that can be implemented to improve life. For instance, if research reveals that students are having a challenge using a teaching strategy, the teachers might explore other strategies that can be effective.

Source analysis is an essential task for any researcher or professional writer. Not all sources are reliable because some express people’s opinions while others are biased. Therefore, analysis is required to help select the best sources worth incorporating in one’s work. Ideally, government sites, peer-reviewed articles among others, are deemed reliable. With such knowledge, I desire to pursue reliable sources to support my present and future writing work.

In organizations, employees are motivated to reach particular targets through motivation. It is a topic that I personally love much and would like to exercise it professionally.

Likewise, teachers are supposed to understand these theories so that they can interact with these children in a way that helps them grow and develop well. As a professional, I will utilize these theories in helping parents understand how they can handle their children in a bid to raise them effectively.

Personality is about the characteristics that an individual exhibit such as emotions, behavior, and cognition. Personality is greatly influenced by genetics whereby children inherit the behavior traits of the parents. On the other hand, personality is shaped by one’s environment. Interaction with others and the environment can stress someone. Hardship situations can raise people’s emotions and they end up distressed. As such, I seek to ensure that I understand the environment and learn ways to shun distressing situations to avoid anxiety and depression.

The thesis statement is ‘motivation works only when communicated to the workers.’ When the management communicates about the motivation strategies to use, the workers understand them and work best in a bid to achieve the desired goals. However, when motivation strategies are implemented without communicating with the workers, the latter do not understand them or their needs. Thus, they do not feel motivated even they will be rewarded when they attain the goals set.

Social influence is the behavior change caused by another person. It can either be intentionally or unintentionally but they influenced changes due to the interactions with the influencer. Ideally, the social environment shapes a person to behave in a certain way. Areas that demonstrate social influence include peer pressure, leadership, socialization, and compliance among others. With such knowledge, I bet to be a positive social influencer through effective leadership and conformity.

Applied Research tends to explore different approaches that solve a problem and/or impact people psychologically. Motivation is one topic that impacts people and assist them to perform. Therefore, applied research can be used to explore the strategies that can improve worker productivity through motivation. I intend to use applied research to solve general day-to-day challenges as well as improve a situation based on existing information and strategies.

Health is the most precious thing that humans enjoy. However, from time to time, health is suppressed by illness whether mental or physical. When discussing stress, it is physical or emotional tension. It results in the body reacting to a frustrating situation or event. Since stress can lead to depression, people must understand how to cope with it. These strategies include sharing the issue with a parent or friend, taking care of oneself like eating healthy and exercising among others. I intend to cope with stress whenever I experience it.

I feel being a hero for what I have accomplished as well as what I seek to achieve. Education has helped me understand my weaknesses and strengths, fight fear, as well as the need to seek a mentor. With the knowledge about this journey, I seek to achieve more in life than I initially thought.

With the writing process in the past two weeks, I can admit that I have improved, which is my motivation. Writing is a major way of expressing oneself as well as one’s beliefs and values to others. Therefore, since writing is a communication medium, proper writing should offer an effective organization of the mind, clear and concise. The challenge has been meeting deadlines while at the same time maintaining the quality of my work.

My selected topic is about motivation in human psychology. My experience with the library is that it has been a great resource in supporting my topic because I can access much reliable information about it. Thus, I can encourage my colleagues to use the library to come up with their topics and relevant information about them. The Capella library, I noticed, offers peer-reviewed articles discussing different topics. A little research about my work is about how motivation and communication are related.

Essay writing is a little challenging at first but easy in the long run. I was having challenges using standard citations like APA and MLA but I have now mastered them. I can easily distinguish between them alongside formatting them correctly. Similarly, many of my colleagues admit improving on the same.

Ecree promotes good writing by utilizing a rule-based approach in evaluating papers. Thus, the errors that it points out include argumentation, sentence organization, and grammar. Since it is automated, it has assisted me in editing my work quickly. I have learned to organize my work and eliminating simple errors.

The thesis statement is “motivation works only when communicated to the workers”. The support I intend to use is that communication is essential in making motivation effective. Again, communication brings the workers closer to their leadership in a healthy relationship that promotes productivity. Counterargument is that motivation need not have any communication. Actions speak louder than words. Therefore, when the workers are surprised with rewards, they will increase their effort without any communication.

I have known that many informative writings have some persuasive elements in them. Thus, transitioning to persuasive writing has helped me because I can now write an appealing article by considering the required appeals. Writing is more natural as I do not have to struggle improving. However, the big challenge is choosing a position because to me, both sides of the argument are valid.

Ecree highlighted my mistakes and the probable solution/ feedback, which I used to improve my work. There was indeed a difference from my last submission because, in the latter paper, there were few errors. Thus, it is beneficial because it improves the quality of writing. Ideally, I used the right-hand column, which indicated the errors, to make improvements.

Discussion #10

My educational journey has been interesting because of refusing to subject to fear of failure or trying. I explore much about my studies and through mentorship, I can overcome many obstacles. The Hero’s Journey Redux has been a good guide in helping me accomplish progress. I would wish to encourage my colleagues, whom we have been together in the ten-week-long community, to continue fighting for their success.
