The Chinese firm Huawei
The Chinese firm Huawei continues to work on an alternative to Google in the form of a new operating system, services, and apps alternative to Google and, in general, be independent of the American firm. Yesterday we knew that the leading Chinese manufacturers were working to be able to offer in the future an alternative app store to Google Play. Meanwhile, Huawei continues to launch new models, this time a variant of its popular Y range, one of the most economical of the Chinese firm. This also comes with a different design in some aspects and a relationship of benefits and price more than exciting.

Undoubtedly the design is one of the strengths of this device. Because it leaves behind the notch in the form of a drop of water to introduce the camera on the screen itself, in a top corner, also in the back, we can see an original design, with a kind of multicolored bezel that reacts to the light that falls on it, and that runs throughout the phone. Turning to the features, this new screen has a size of 6.39 inches with HD + resolution. As we have mentioned in the corner, it has a perforated front camera.
The processor is the Kirin 710F, one of the new variants of this popular mid-range processor manufactured by Huawei. Regarding the RAM, it has 4GB, and in the internal storage, we find 64GB that is expandable by microSD cards up to 512GB. The camera, in this case, is triple and vertically oriented. It integrates three 48, 8, and 2-megapixel sensors, including an ultra-wide-angle and depth sensor configuration. In the front part inside the hole, the camera is 8 megapixels.
The autonomy of this terminal depends on a battery with 4000mAh capacity, which is charged through a micro USB port that is also compatible with 10W fast charging. It is available in green and blue gradient, as well as in a black version with that multicolored bezel. Regarding the price, this model currently only arrives in Thailand, where it costs 145 euros. Undoubtedly a very tight price for a phone with an attractive design and solvent characteristics. If we compare it with the current Huawei Y7 of 2019, we verify that it is a mobile that exceeds in all aspects, except the battery.
Starting with the design, following the performance or the cameras, we are facing a beautiful mobile that could mark the design of the mid-range of this 2020 for Huawei. Now, it can be a delusion that this model arrives in Spain since doing so will have to be with a basic Android 10, without Google services or apps, something that is slowing the launch of the brand in our country. Therefore it will be necessary to be cautious when waiting for the movements of Huawei in this aspect.
