Excel sheet and descriptive characteristics
Part 1
Descriptive characteristics give us information about key parameters used for analysis, such as the central tendency, mean, among others. This helps to give simpler summaries of measures and the sample. Research studies always have many measures as, for our case, we were analyzing five factors about twenty people, which provides a large volume of data. Descriptive characteristics work to simplify the large amounts of data in a more straightforward way that warrants easy comparison. Inferential analysis of any data that is reaching relevant conclusions cannot be possible if the data is not simplified. For a large volume of data, understanding the data in eternity is tedious and requires calculations, which may result in possible errors compromising practical analysis. Therefore, descriptive characteristics ensure that data analysis is correct through the provision of thought through a description of the data.
From my experience, the descriptive characteristic is an automatic generator that combines various parameters to give out information concerning the data. The program was able to calculate the standard deviation, mean, range, skewness, kurtosis, among other factors for all the five parameters. For example, Cringe had a kurtosis of -1.016370713, a value that would have consumed a lot of time in the calculation if it were done manually. It also limits the possibility of errors as it gives the values to the most significant decimal point possible.

Part 2
In the future, I intend to further my knowledge on excel work to be comprehensive such that I gain the relevant night in how the excel works. So far, with the knowledge of descriptive characteristics, I would like to learn how the individual systems work and how excel can use them to analyze data, for example, how the standard deviation obtained about some variables can be of use in furthering my analysis. Moreover, I would like to expand my knowledge on the working of the graph systems to include axis labeling and data exporting. Equations relating to the graphs will also be appropriate to show the relationships that exist between the variables.
