Education in American schools

Education in American schools functions as a primary instrument for facilitating the integration of the young generation into the logic of the present system that plays a critical role in bringing about conformity. The use of the education system later becomes the practice of freedom. Men and women use their education with the drive of critically and creatively working towards ensuring there are discovery and use of reality in their way of transforming life. Therefore, the chronic achievement in this chapter has managed to create an epidemic which ensures that learners get excited over the increasing level of thinking. The education system is then used efficiently in problem-solving, writing skills, and analytical reading, which is vital in ensuring students get the facts and information needed during the period of studying. More studies in classrooms document that underserved learners of English receive fewer skills based on order instructions.

Additionally, poor students and students of specific color receive fewer instructions, thus leading to lower rates of development when compared to other groups of learners. Furthermore, the curriculum used by other students is less challenging, and it is always repetitive. The instructions present always focused on the use of skills. The available instructions, therefore, play a critical role in denying students with the opportunity of engaging in other activities such as productive struggle, which raises the level of student’s understanding.

The understanding of the roots of culture, plays a critical role in reducing the gap in terms of race. Understanding culture reduces issues such as inequity, oppression, and student discrimination. Understanding culture is one of the ways through which learning gaps of students can be reduced. Classrooms are considered to be the main channel through which the reduction of such actions takes place. However, the way culture is used to close the gap about race has remained vague because, for many teachers, it has always remained counterintuitive for the ones who taught not to focus on the existing differences. Culture is the primary way one can reduce the current differences amongst students. For example, increasing awareness plays a critical role in increasing the level of background comprehension and gain skills in problem-solving. Therefore, teachers are supposed to be exposed to adequate knowledge of how one can apply the tools available culturally to strategize on routes to be taken when trying to reduce the gap between students. Building the existing background knowledge starts when one starts becoming knowledgeable about the current culture, social surroundings, and political formations. The understanding of these dimensions is vital in the way one can minimize the existing differences because the culture is constructed based on the ones practicing it. Deep culture further governs the means through which one learns new information.

There are many ways through which culture programs the brain. The brain utilizes the available culture in focusing on the real world. Therefore, students are supposed to be helped in their drive to developing their cognitive ability. Having knowledge about the functioning of the brain is considered one of the piggybacks of the usual layers of the mind. The structure of the brain is structured in three layers, the same as the one of the house. Due to the arrangement of the brain, each layer has a specific function. Every layer is robust on its specifics and can send chemical and electromagnetic messages to and from the brain. The brain works in unison with the parts of the nervous system.

Conversely, there is no practice of the new dendrites after learning some new episodes. The brain works by starving them and then later reabsorbing them. The functionality of the mind usually assumes that if the activity is not revisited, the dendrites that grew the information were considered to be hard to keep. Therefore, the footpath will get overgrown and then later disappears, making the recognition process of the brain hard, thus finding it difficult to find their way to the specific stored skills and knowledge.
