What If All the Kids Are White article review
Introduction
After reading the article, ‘What If All the Kids Are White. ‘I do get the feeling and develop the thought of how much the element of race still is deeply rooted in the mind of most Americans. It is a reflection of the society that tends to view the black and the white race, and worse is the unchanging perception that either the white race is superior or that the black race is inferior in some way. The article is a reflection to me on how the anti-bias culture or journey is still far from where people would want it to be but at the same time a challenge to me on how little I am doing to change the perception that this article talks about. In my view, I am not doing much, and this article is a wakeup call to the way that I live and work towards changing the narrative of the race issue.
The race is and remains an issue of concern even to the modern American society race has been used in propelling hate and also leads to the death of many people. From the article, an existing yet new perception has been developed. The article gives insight into the impact of the issue of race and how much it has impacted society in different ways. Just like in the other article, this article communicates the intention by most people to defend the aspect of race and the role that it has played in elevating the various elements of inequality and discrimination at workplaces and within other organizations. I do get a whole new feeling of what is my role, and these questions change my position from the comfort that I have had thinking everything is right when it comes to the issue of race.
While I feel comfortable with the race, I am. My instinct does tell me that most people, mainly from the black race, are not feeling the same way. However, very few people do understanding the fact that intimidation that comes from the race does prevent most children from achieving what their real potential is. This can, however, be overcome with good understanding or a change of perception on how lousy race is to a given element of development. There is much to be done to make children all equal regardless of race and the social background. This is the higher level of understanding that most people lack and deserve if equality and fairness are needed based on race or color.
From the other student post, I want to acknowledge the fact that she has done much to address the issue of race contributed by the anti-bias movement. Her post is reinstatement and focuses on how much can be achieved if the element of race was properly deal with. She demonstrates goodwill in terms of achieving equality for all children and all different ethics groups in America. I am, however, impressed by the fact that she acknowledges the existence of racial discrimination and wishes, this can come to an end. She, however, calls from the same level of involvement from all the races to make America more united and equal, especially for the young generation.
