My government will base on a democratic form of governing. The people will have power over what happens in the government and the country at large. They will participate in the decision-making process and will choose their representatives through free and fair elections (Magstadt. 2017). The elected representatives will represent the needs of their electorates in the government. The democratic government will be guided by the rule of law at all levels starting with the presidency. The government will not have too much power over the citizens, and will only act in the best interest of the citizens. The government will also protect the rights of all citizens while ensuring equality.

The government will have three main branches, the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary. The executive will be charged with the role of enforcing the law. I will enhance the development of the National security program. This will constitute all the law enforcement departments like the police, military and will include the participation of the citizens. These programs will maintain the public good by ensuring that the citizens can have access to medical services when needed. International Monetary Fund is an international organization that I would consider joining for economic development in my country. Joining the IMF will hence boost our efforts of economic growth. Since any country can apply to be a member of the organization, I will ask for the membership through the headquarters. The state will hence pay the designated quota.

For security purposes, I will join the United Nations. The United Nations, through the United Nations Security Council, ensures international peace and security among all member states. The organization was created after World War II to ensure world peace and has 193 members. Joining the organization will promote our countries efforts in fighting the increasing terrorism threat and the neighboring dictator hostility. All countries aiming to achieve peace are welcome to join the United Nations. We shall need to accept the obligations outlined in the charter before the Security Council can approve our application.
