Trump is a ‘disgrace’, I’ll support Sanders. Says musician Neil Young.
Veteran Canadian rocker Neil Young described American President Donald Trump as a “disgrace” to the United States. “You are a disgrace to my country,” the musician openly tells the U.S. president in the opening of the letter, which is titled “An open letter to Donald J Trump”.
The musician equally went ahead to declared his support for the Democratic party candidate, Bernie Sanders for the upcoming elections in November.

“I don’t blame the people who voted for you. I support their right to express themselves, although they have been lied to, and in many cases believed the lies, they are true Americans. I have their back,” he continued.
The 74-year-old musician, born in Canada but living in the state of California (west) for decades, became an American citizen this year but retains his Canadian nationality.
In his letter, the author of songs like “Harvest Moon” and “Helpless” praised Sanders, who currently leads the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
