An online questionnaire is a survey that has questions whose target audience have to answer over the internet. An online questionnaire is critical in business since it enables the business owner to get answers which are good enough to make the right decisions (Wright, 2005). This is because an online questionnaire enables the owner of a business to reach the people whose opinions matter most. The surveys, therefore, should be prepared adequately, ensuring that it has a well-designed set of questions. Well-constructed questions will give reasonable answers, which are enough to make the right decisions. This paper will provide a well-designed questionnaire of an XYZ Vending Company operating on a college campus. It aims to get a piece of clear information from the audience, which will enable the company to decide on what to stock.

From the data obtained in the questionnaire, it fair to conclude that a large population of students would likely use the vending machine. They would also use it daily. Furthermore, most of the students would prefer the vending machine to sell provides fruits, fruit juice, and fizzy drinks. The students would prefer to purchase from the vending machine because of it close to them. Having looked at the data from the questionnaire, there is further research area I would like to add other questions. One of the areas is to explore how the students would feel about the hygiene and health of the vending machine. The fact that the students are recommending that XYZ Vending Machine company deal with foodstuff makes health and hygiene the primary to consider. This, therefore, raises the need to know their perspectives on health matters. It will also ensure that the XYZ vending Machine Company responds to their views and start the business in a manner that would be satisfactory to the students. It would also be essential to get the student’s perspective on the price tags of the items. This means that the price is another area to do further research on; therefore, the questionnaire should include the questions testing their view of their preferred prices. This is important since it would help the company to make the right decisions at the correct prices to start with (Williams, 2015). It will also ensure that the XYZ Vending Machine Company prices are pocket-friendly to students and that students would prefer buying from the company.
The XYZ Vending Machine Company has other research areas. These research areas include the attempt to know the preferred ways of the students to put up structures in the vending machine. In making this decision, it is crucial to engage the students. This is because some of them might want to eat or drink what they purchase there, while others need to take them away. This, therefore, will help the company get the right way to do it to ensure the students are satisfied. Social responsibility is also another research area that XYZ Vending Machine Company has. This is an important area since it is crucial for XYZ Company to make income and, at the same time, being responsible for the welfare of society and the environment. This, therefore, necessitate the company to get the society’s views on how to collect and dispose of the cans, bottles, and other waste from the vending machine.
The research areas which the XYZ Vending Machine Company has to find information about necessitates the changes to the questionnaire. It would be necessary to change the questionnaire to add questions related to those topics to get the results of the students. This would provide an opportunity for the students and the community to air out their views on the matter. Changes should also be made to the questionnaire to make it unbiased (Yaddanapudi, 2019). This is because the questions now target the students, but the vending machine would be used not only by the students but also by the college staff will use it. Therefore, the questionnaire should be added question which would be answered by the college staff.
