In several cases, legislation tends to affect different categories of populations, primarily young people. The young people are at risk of incurring costs because of legislation pressure that forces them to end up seeking for opportunities that present to assist them in seeing their political agendas come through in the various departments such as the health associations. Since the enactment of the Affordable Care Act, there have been various debates targeting the end of the act (Taylor et al., 2017). Besides, there have been numerous discussions concerning the benefits and improvement in the political careers of individuals by causing chaos and infringement among the citizens of a nation.

A good example is a decision, which was made by the Republicans to cause the invalidation of the ACA, which could drastically influence the health care system. Therefore, impacting the health and wellness of the majority of Americans because it could cause a reduction in the expansion of Medicaid. Besides, the invalidation of ACA would result in a decline in the health coverage for the children. The Republicans move would further affect the drug coverage and preventive services coverage, which is always provided by the Medicaid (Hodge, 2018). The political moves do not serve the needs and the rights of individuals despite the fact that it is a representation of the majority in a nation. The invalidation of ACA would significantly affect the health outcome of more than 20 million people in America because it would result in the elimination of taxes that used to finance the programs of Medicaid.

The politicians infringe on the ethics that are associated with health care because of the restrictive regulations and laws that they develop (Milstead & Short, 2019). Politics places the health care system at a risk position because of the threats that politics places to the patient care, reproductive health for women, and delivery of evidence-based care. Despite the fact that politics takes a crucial position in the future development of a nation, it significantly affects the economy and the health of individual citizens.
