It will help manage the different loopholes that would become created within the change process, and this will also maintain their product competitiveness in the market.

The batch sizes

However, the product offering of the organization will increase in specific products through the creation of more flexible decision-making processes and concentration of continued product development and production into the market.

The new enterprise information systems bring on board several issues to discuss. However, its most significant achievement would be adapting to new product changes or lines. With the automation of processes and effectiveness of operations, the system is flexible enough to accommodate unique product characteristics. As the significant role of the system is managing information sharing, the process of accepting analyzing and quantifying further information about a product would be well maintained.  Additionally, the ability to operate in real time by the system helps it acquire more information concerning the new product and increases its ability to act in line with the specifications and quality requirements.

Reasons for not incorporating new product capabilities in system design

New products within the organization require a different approach in terms of managing their abilities, and this affects the systems developed within the same organization. However, regarding the enterprise information system, better management of new product must get addressed in a significantly different way(Akroush, 2012). The primary reason as to why the organization new products capabilities not included within the system design is due to the continued changes in product specifications by customers. Probably, a new product may share specifications with an already existing product or may carefully relate in one way or another. It would be easier for the organization to produce the new product with the already existing specifications as a way of creating the effect of its products. Similarly, dealing with the changes in product specifications each time a new product design would mean continued improvement of the system.  However, this would disrupt production within the organization and lead to losses in business.

Conclusion

The new system implementation process and its functionality within the organization creates more impact to its change process and ensures a successful process of change within the organization. The system is quite flexible and would significantly adapt to changes within the organization operations and which would shift both the organization performance and is product competitiveness.  Ensuring the employees are well conversant with the new system operations would mean a more significant step ahead in managing and running the organization affairs.

The three components, organization staff, product batch sizes and concentration of one product line within the organization form the necessary change process of the organization in adopting and maintaining the new system and its changes. Most importantly, the product within the organization requires prior planning to get incorporated within then new system, and this calls for initial plans in terms of changes within the organization and the possible shift in product offering in the organization future. The management significantly plays a vital role in the changes and ability of the system to impact change within the organization operations.
