Based on this theory, one of the most exciting things in this theory is the contradiction that exists. Under normal circumstances and by our thoughts, we usually perceive that people brought up in a germ-free environment cannot get infected easily because of their surroundings. Still, it is contradicting that these are people who are highly vulnerable to disease (Baumeister & Bushman, 2017). To be resistant to something, we must encounter it to develop some immune against it, although we understand it can be harmful or have some adverse effects on us.
This concept has a lot of teaching and plays the better part of my life; the theory of persuasion is so critical. This concept, if i take it seriously, i will avoid many problems that i could encounter.it is clear that students who were keen to listen to the talk about persuasion we able to avoid credit card debts, which is a real burden for many college students. Those who avoid the persuasive adverts on credit cards we ready to win against that persuasion, which could have landed them into more problems.
If this concept is applied to the current environment, it will help many people to understand a lot of things. Like most parents do not allow their children to interact with the dirty environment, which is right, but if they had an idea about the importance of that interaction, they could not be exposing their children to medication. More so, if this concept was with most campus students, they could able to avoid several peer pressure problems like the use of drugs and other abusive substances.
