A mother is a significant figure in every child’s life. She lives for her children, whether biological or adopted. She makes a lot of sacrifices and works hard to equip her children with the knowledge that will help them in the future. A mother is a protector; she guards her children against any danger and can sacrifice her life for them.this is due to the bond created since pregnancy and through rearing. She is the first teacher of her children. She instills good behaviors and characters that help the children be of good morals, and influential people in the society.chilldren may change later in life due to peer pressure and life challenges. Still, a mother will always try to bring them back to the right path.it is well presented in a movie character Hannah Young who fixture in” haves and haves not” movie. She is always concerned about her children’s behavior and always ready to correct them.

Born in the slums, Hannah young was raped by a drug addict who left her pregnant with her daughter Candace young.she could have aborted, since it was rape, but decided to be a mother of a fatherless child. She worked as a maid to feed her children and even managed to provide shelter for her. She made her daughter appreciate her natural beauty when she was comparing herself with the rich kids who had expensive cosmetics. A mother played a significant role in shaping her children’s characters and help them appreciate themselves. Hannah was a role model to her daughter Candace, who grew up as a courageous lady, and faced all her challenges fearlessly.

Hannah young protected her children with her life. Despite bringing up her children in an illegal drugs environment, her son Benjamin was not involved in any of the groups, since she shaped his son’s character. As a young girl, Candace got raped by her mother’s boyfriend. When she realized she broke up with him and reported him to the authority, although this experience changed Candace’s life, she lived with the guilt of exposing her daughter to that danger. For a mother to be a protector, A mother should be courageous, Hannah faced the goons and begged for her children forgiveness,  when their life was in danger. She could always ask her kids to have good morals and to do the right things. Although her daughter Candace turned out to be a prostitute,  it was to give her family a better life, which Hannah did not approve of. She used to tell her that prostitution money is cursed and will only bring her more problems. She was protecting her from the aftermath of her misbehavior.

Hannah was a fighter, and she didn’t allow negative changes in life to bring her down. She brought up her kids as a single mother and provided all the basics. When Benjamin was run over by a car, the doctor had no hope for him. Benjamin’s father demanded his  kidneys since his kidneys were failing him. Hannah fought for her son’s life, and through the help of her boss, her son got well. Hannah was a cancer survivor. She fought the disease with courage and could not let it bring her down. Through her courage, she encouraged her boss, who also had breast cancer. Her hopes were gone and could not share her pain with any family member. Hannah stood by her side all through her treatment and replaced her loved ones. She had a big heart and had a strong faith in God. When she got raped, Candace blamed her mother for her misfortune, but Hannah moved on and fought her battles spiritually. She always prayed for Candace to change her behavior and become a respectable lady.

Being satisfied with my income was another reason I learned from Hannah.candace gained a lot of money and fame through blackmail, but non of that exited Hannah. Although Candace used her brother to deriver her gift to her mother, Hannah disowned them whenever she realized it was from Candace. She was a self-centered woman and always stuck to her word. When her house got destroyed by fire, Candace had kidnapped  Jimi crayer and got away with 7milloin. She bought a house for  Hannah but put it under her brother’s name since she knew her mother would not accept it. When she comes to realize the source of money, Hannah left the house and rented a hotel. She believed in hard work and did not accept any help without saying that she will payback.They were close with her boss, but every time she decided to give support to Hannah, she would always promise to pay back. It is also displayed well when Candace was pushing her brother Benjamin to sue Wayte crayer, after running him with a car. Hannah was against it since he believed they had done much more than money. This situation surprised me because it comes at a time when Hannah did not have a place to stay, and her grandson needed medical attention. When Candace realized the money from the kidnap is to be reversed, she forwarded them to the benjamins account, not knowing it was a joint account with her mother. Candace could not believe when Hannah said they are giving the money back to the crayers. She was not afraid of the threats she got from Candace until Candace found another way to remove the funds from the account.

Hannah was an adviser and a good friend. When  Cate crayer, was going through chemotherapy,Hannah stood by her as a friend up to the end. Cate sow her as her confidant and trusted her more than her family. She could not believe how lucky she was to have a maid who was not a blackmailer but had a Golden heart. Hannah advised the crayers not to defend their son when he was on the wrong, but instead to let him go through the right channels of justice, and he will learn his lesson. She surprised me when she did the same to her daughter. Hannah reported her to the police when she realized she had buried her ex-husband in her house.

Conclusively, Hannah made me realize to be a mother, you need to be an example to your children. Although sometimes they become rebellious and go against your wish, you don’t give up on them. Mothers play a significant role in their children’s life as destiny shapers.Despite Candace’s rebellion, she changed for the better due to her mother’s unconditional love. When you do good for others, good things will come back to you. Hannah received big favors from her friend and boss due to the good things she did for her and her family. Hannah taught me that there are no regrets when you live a straightforward life.
