Impact of Holy Spirit Ministry
I have undergone several painful experiences in the past. The most notable is having my trust broken by someone I considered a best friend. This person shared very private information about me with other individuals, which left me with a feeling of betrayal. In addition, I abruptly lost my grandfather, who was very close to me. I miss having him in my life, his voice, and always imagine how life would be if he was still alive.
When I think of the Holy Spirit, I get an image of God empowering and helping me to live a flourishing life. The painful experiences awakened my need for divine help. The Holy Spirit ministry stepped in and made me feel confident as a believer. I received extra power that helped energize and sustain me on a sacred path.
Painful experiences make us feel afraid and impose terror on our lives. However, the Holy Spirit enriches with gifts that are needed in the church. According to Roberts, God touches our lives through the Holy Spirit (9). The experience bestowed magnificent power upon me that empowers and encourages me to spread love to other people around me. In addition, the experience gave me hope to face all trials and tribulations. Notably, the Holy Spirit helps me to spread peace to those around me.
