I believe children are exceptional young individuals who come first. They need to be well taken care of by responding to some of their basic needs, being an advocate for them comprehending, and always making them comfortable. Being there for children is such a good thing since it’s at this stage that they develop and form the foundation they need in the future. Children are believed to be the stars of the future, and therefore how they are educated and brought up will affect their future life.

I believe families are just children’s experts that are there to ensure children get whatever care they need. Families are the backbone that inspires and shape the children partially as educators play some roles.My community role as an early childhood educator is ensuring a responsive relationship is built with the families as this provides open communication between the families and me as the educator. Families play a crucial role in ensuring that their culture, such as knowledge, attitudes and even their cultural activities have a positive influence in the lives of their children. This can be exposed to the learning materials, that tend to be different in every culture. Therefore parents should avail different learning materials from different cultural backgrounds to ensure their children are well equipped with diverse knowledge of other peoples culture too. ( Alsubaie,2016).

In supporting child development, I will invest in every child, as I make a difference in each child’s life. I will also provide children with a spontaneous learning experience that will profoundly impact their development. I believe curriculum is guidance on how children should be taken through their educational development, which I also think should be appropriately developed. The curriculum should also provide for alternative direction other than punishment in case the children need to be rectified whenever they deviate. This curriculum should also guide the educators on how to ensure children are engaged in active participation at their young age as this will develop their sense of responsibility. Being there for each child, regardless of the background or ethnic profile, is also a way of ensuring the outdoor environment is created.

The curriculum should be play-based, that enhances freedom to the children, developing their interests and giving them an open forum to ensure they make their own choices helping nurture their new autonomy and power. Children grow at their own pace; therefore, I will go for the play-based curriculum, giving the children the freedom to choose their interests. Inclusively, the curriculum should also be emergent that leads the children in doing activities that are opposed to educators activities. A flexible curriculum also allows the child to be creative as patience is called for from the educators for them to document these children through observation (Wood,& Hedges,2016).

My roles connected to culture, diversity, and families within the whole playroom are sharing observations of the child based on skills, interest, abilities by employing various observation techniques, not forgetting to appropriately and sensitively responding to the family needs. Sensitizing the children on the importance of respecting each others culture is also a role that I play as an educator. Being up to date with field information like updates in the curriculum or any other relevant information is my role, and this can be achieved by either going back to training institutions or through workshops organized by the regulators of the curriculum. Delivering quality knowledge to the children and updated information is a role that as an educator, I have to ensure every child gets that kind of information.

I believe in an environment that is modified, and the requirements of these children should be met by the curriculum to ensure their interest and emerging skills are well developed hence an inclusive environment. Parents, staff and even children also constitute to this environment since they should also ensure the environment is friendly. A clean environment should be ensured such making available water for washing hands after visiting the washrooms. This builds an environment that the children can learn on the importance of washing hands after visiting washrooms. (Mueller & File2019).

As an educator, I will ensure fairness and respect for both children and parents from various ethnic backgrounds. Fighting ethnicity is a crucial function to provide a safer environment is built. Fighting ethnicity can be achieved through ensuring my education centre has multicultural nights and potlucks from various ethnic backgrounds. I am ensuring that these children live in safety, healthy surrounding, taking their well-being as a sole responsibility.

My interactions will be nurturing the children at an individual level, having interactions that these children will remember as they continue with their studies. Nurturing the talents of these young stars and ensuring they foster is my role too. Being a positive role model for these children is my pleasure; being the person, they can follow his steps and even being there to help solve some of their problems. Some of these children are orphans, and they lack people to be there for them, therefore as an educator, I will be there for them to ensure they are comfortable and some of their essential needs that are within mu power are met. Open communications with the families of these children help us build a pleasant home environment and school environment, and the children will develop a trust in both parents and me as an educator (Mueller & File, 2019).

In conclusion, as an educator, every child is entitled to get a quality education. Therefore,I have a role in ensuring children are provided with an emergent curriculum. I’ll use the skills I have to ensure each child’s need is met. Through the powers, I have, ill ensure that a safer outdoor and indoor environment is created in support of the learning of these children. Creating a safer indoor and outdoor are the roles ill still play until they are well formulated since these are the basic environments that support their learning, not forgetting to fight ethnicity.
