Part Two

The above section is concerned with the nutritional value of the types of food we consume daily. Most of the time, we are generally unaware of the nutritional value since we do not consider this as a matter of great concern. However, in this alternative meal project, nutrition was the major concern as it was more inclined to proteins. Notably, I have been on protein diet before, and i can confess; as a result, i became huge and muscular, and consequently, i had to change my wore drop.  However, switching to this new diet is primarily because the meal is well balanced; hence I’m guaranteed of losing a significant amount of weight.

The exercise is also about how we can modify and change the realized food consumption habits. It is vital to maintain a healthy nutritional regime for better metabolisms of the body. It is comparatively more straightforward to prepare unhealthy food combinations than a good alternative. This is because people usually eat what they want, unlike what they need. It very important to stick to balanced died since it is riched on nutrients and better metabolism of the body.

Also, I realized that the cost is also cheaper for the healthy food ingredient than the corresponding meal. For instance, beans, pork, veggie, eggs are affordable at a lower price as compared to the corresponding meal. However, it’s a great challenge to acquire certain food ingredients such as almond, quinoa, broccoli and this poses a challenge to healthy living.

It is, therefore, necessary to maintain a conscious mind when it involves nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. A meal plan is an essential tool that assists in keeping check of our consumptions, and this helps in modification and changing the meal order and ingredients. This plan is a way of checking that all nutrition is observed and kept at an optimum amount for better working of the body. An individual without a meal plan finds it challenging to keep a healthy lifestyle in terms of nutrition.

As the say goes “a family which eats together stays together” i invited my friends of both gender to come to enjoy the taste. Surprisingly, of them were amazed and appreciated the delicacy served. Ladies could not resist the sweet aroma from the kitchen room, and they kept on checking on my progress. The meal was served in a big bowl which accommodated the appetite of each and every member through the self-service criteria, and the end of the chapter all gave a positive comment regarding the delicacy, sweet aroma, and uniformity of the food.

In the near future, i would want to include more alternative meals. This will significantly favour the preference of all my friends since i noted that two of my friends did to enjoy eggs as such; thus, they suggested that next time i include more traditional vegges. Also, two of them suggested an improvement of ingredients in the next meal, which I’ll have to implement for proper modification.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, this exercise made me realize the types of food I usually consume and their nutritional value. Also, a number of people tend to repeat one meal, which in return affects their health. It is necessary to keep changing the meal schedule or plan to maintain a better intake of nutrients. When one type of nutrient in ingested beyond the needed amount, the harm is always posed to the participant. Therefore, a circulating meal plan is essential for healthy nutrients intake. The exercise is helpful even for health practitioners in case a person is taken to hospital following an illness or something relative.
