It is apparent to establish that labor markets in the United States of America have failed to support employees to live according to the living standards of the region. The standards of living cannot meet the daily demands in terms of bills that workers are being paid. Hence, there is a rise in the levels of poverty despite having a more extensive percentage working. The situation between the labor workers and the market can only be addressed through the implementation of the minimum wage rate of $15. It is appropriate to depict that it will contribute to economic growth, improve standards of living, and further spur business growth through increased investments (Pollin and Wicks-Lim, 2016). Hence, standardization in the labor market and taskforce can only be implemented through the generation of a minimum wage rate across the United States ofAmerican that will help propel the economy and further promote better living standards among workers. It will also combat the extreme levels of poverty, especially among African-Americans and Hispanics.
Question 2
Concerns on the provision of better working conditions for workers will immensely contribute to workforce development. Moreover, the use of standardized policies across the workplace facilitates the implementation of proper techniques that allow the taskforce to improve their skills and have better treatment. Standardized payments through the implementation of the minimum wage rate and equal pay act to avert from gender discrimination.
Question 3
It is worth ascertaining that the minimum wage rate of $15 and the provision of better working conditions apply to both secondary and primary labor markets (Luce, 2017). However, it would be complex to conduct standardization of the active policies in both the primary and secondary markets as they have different structures.
