At least 19 killed by tornadoes in the United States
Several tornadoes have destroyed over 40 buildings and killed at least 19 people.
Tornadoes in the US state of Tennessee have cost at least 19 people their lives.
It writes the AP news agency quoting Maggie Hannan spokesman from the Tennessee rescue authorities.
The state has been hit by several violent tornadoes within the past 24 hours.
The tornadoes have caused great havoc, and police and emergency services in the state are currently working on high pressure to deal with the aftermath.
Houses are without power and several buildings have collapsed.
And in the state of Nashville, more than 150 people have been injured as a result of the tornado and are now in hospital.

Election sites opened later than planned
Tennessee is one of the 14 states in which citizens today have to choose the Democratic candidate they believe should run for President Donald Trump for the November presidential election.
But the severe weather in the state can affect how many people will move outside at all to a polling station.
Several cities have also opened the polling places later than otherwise planned.
According to CNN , Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is in contact with the White House about the weather situation.
And on social media, it is pouring in with greetings to the citizens of Tennessee.
