After watching “The Truman Show,” I saw its correlation with chapter five on the usage of photographic elements such as various tonalities, contrast, and exposure. Often, when I watch movies, I get fascinated and overwhelmed by the entertainment in them; however, I emphasize cinematographic elements. The film uses excellent camera works. The movie had several lines indicating the use of contras through filters, lighting, and coloring. At the
point where Christoff says, “We acknowledge the reality of the world presented to us,” there is robust use of lighting lens, and this enhances visibility. The sensitivity of lighting in the film correlates with the description of chapter five using camera works. Christoff decided to show inside the house while he was speaking to enhance the effects of exposure in the movie.
The filmmakers and writers expressed overexposure of lighting techniques using a van that was over-illuminated. The movie tries to figure out why we find it very easy to acknowledge the society and culture we are born into or have knowledge about as the
best and appropriate approach to live, but is it really the case? Is it possible to integrate traditions and lifestyles across all societies and cultures, both current and past, to build the “ideal” society, one that looks at its people fairly and values its environment?
I believe Christoff was factual. The hidden meaning is that our society is our won witness that the majority of the people merely accept the culture or world they reside in

without investigating it, even when it is necessary to question such a society. In my reflection, I really found pleasure in the film generally. I love the way the movie narrated the story, how it allowed viewers to make a similar perspective as that of Truman to make the audience come up with equal discoveries Truman
was formulating. This is what triggered me to continue watching the movie.
As I aforementioned, the film got my attention extremely fabulous that I overlooked at times to look at the
camera angles. Although I’m not a movie critic and I get entertained easily by the majority of the movies I watch, it requires a lot for a film to qualify for
the
best list of
my top favorites. I can easily say that “The Truman Show” made it to that list since it had the fun and education element.
