Opinion on Science in the 17th Century

Regarding the view that that the earth must orbit the sun in just the same way the moons orbit Jupiter, I would hold the same idea, only with different justification idea. My focus would be on the view that the earth is a planet in just the same way Jupiter is. Therefore, it is expected that the earth would mimic the same behavior which Jupiter has. Therefore, my interest would not be focused on the moons. Moons have definite characteristics which are different from planets. Therefore, a proper comparison of behavior would be desirable in establishing the routine of Jupiter. Based on the indications which are identified, it is noted that Jupiter revolves around the sun. In the same case, it would be expected that the earth would have the same behavior. It would serve as an indication of why there are constant changes in seasons within the earth, based on its position at a current time when it goes around the sun.

The views that the earth could not be moving as everything on it would be flying into space is far-fetched. Mainly, there must be a force that keeps all the elements on earth in place. The force is generally effective in ensuring that, as the earth moves, there is no significant instability caused by the various aspects which are found on it. The process is generally appropriate in light of ensuring that the conditions of the earth are sustained within the precise mechanisms which are applied in it. Usually, the planet can continue operating as it usually does, based on the presence of the force which controls the various aspects contained in it..

I also believe that the earth moves as witnessed in the varying degrees to which the sun’s rays hit its surface during different times of the year. The situation, therefore, shows that the orientation of the earth concerning the sun changes. Where it happened that the earth does not move around the sun, these changes would not be present. Since the rays of the sun are consistently the same, there is, therefore, the indication that the earth would be receiving the same level of heating all times of the year. The fact that there happen to be changes serves as a clear indication that the earth moves around the sun. During the event, the outcomes attained usually are based on the orientation which the earth has towards the sun. For instance, the level of heating on the earth is much higher at different times. I hold that the situation serves as a significant determinant of the idea that the earth is continually moving around the sun.

I believe that my choice would be rational as it would purely be based on the prior information which is held regarding the universe at the given time. It would also be based on the observations made around the world. Therefore, the knowledge applied in making the argument would not be based on hearsay or random thinking. Instead, much of what I provide would be based on insights that can be verified. It will be valuable in creating a more solid argument.
