Results

The results f the study shows that personality traits have effects on people when they become observed severally across different situations. It comes out clear that people’s behaviors are dependent upon both the situation they are in and their personality, amongst other factors like present opinions, goals, and feelings. However, when an individual becomes observed across different circumstances, the impact of personality on character prevails (McCrae & Costa 2003). For instance, some people are always punctual, and some are still late. The results of the study as well as displays that personality traits relatively change in stability over time; they change slowly across people’s lifespan.  Personality traits’ are directly proportional to a person’s age, i.e., the older the person, the higher the chances of becoming emotionally and agreeable resilient to situations. However, the changes manifest themselves over several years and not a couple of days or weeks (Niro & McCrae 2013). From the result, it is apparent that the rapid change in people’s personalities is infrequent. The changes happen gradually, and the adults have a strong personality as compared to young people

Due to the effects of personality traits on continuity and behavior over time, it assists in sharpening the course of individual’s lives. When measured through the use of personality validated test as the one applied in this study shows personality trait has got influence on a person’s longevity and physical health, emotional well being and satisfaction of life among others (McCrae & Reinna 2015). However, of all the outcomes, none is holistically determined by personality traits; instead, the circumstance once is in plays a pivotal role as well. It is apparent that that personality impacts on people’s lives in critical ways and plays a role in elaborating why various individuals in the same predicament in most cases come up with unique outcomes. The results of the study show that personality traits play a crucial role, especially when choosing a marriage partner since it has a role in the decision-making process. From the observation made, if you prefer a marriage partner who is accountable, kind, and resilient, emotionally will to a great deal boost your chances of ensuring a satisfying and stable marriage. It comes out clear that personal traits are a crucial indicator of the long-term quality marriage relationship. Alteration of personality is a result of knowledge and life events. The results show that there is a considerable change in personality traits, especially;;y when a person reaches the age of 30.
