A wall clock is normally mounted strategically in schools, homes and organizations in areas that the majority of people can access. The clock is in a circular shape. At the centre of a clock, there are a number of components that make a wall clock. The first feature at the centre of the clock is the hands. The clock has a minute hand that shows the exact minute at a particular time. In addition, there is the hour hand that displays time in terms of hours. It is important to note that sixty minutes make up one hour. At the centre of the hour and minute hand, there is the dial that holds the hands together. Besides, there is the face that is marked with units of displaying minutes.

The clock is in circular shape because it is the perfect shape that makes it easier to calculate time. Normally, the shape of a circle enables the minute and hour hand to cover an equal amount of distance. The amount of time covered by one hand at a particular intersection of the circle is equivalent in another part. Besides, the fact that a clock is round makes match the gravitational force of the earth since it is circular.

Why?

At the focus of the picture is a bridge shaped in parabola. In the parabolic bridge, there is a road above. The road is transport, goods and people. Pedestrians can also use the road. Beneath the bridge, there is a river that flows. The elongated shape of the bridge allows the seamless flow of water with minimal interference. It is important to note that the parabolic shape of the bridge minimizes the interference of the nearby plants. From the photo, some trees grow beside the bridge. Besides, the space underneath the bridge is large enough to allow water transport services by the use of boats. Furthermore, water flowing can be used for fishing purposes.

The curvy shape of the bridge allows it to minimize gravitational force since all the weight face downwards. Moreover, the parabolic shape of the bridge allows the passage of communication lines, such as the fibre optic cables. In terms of water supply, water pipes can be passed under the bridge hence not interfering with the water flow of the city. The shape of the bridge can be said to be fascinating in that the final fishing makes it look appealing to the residents and visitors of the area.

the shape? Why?

The image of the shape below is of an egg. Eggs are domestically used as food. The shape of the egg is of an ellipse. The shape of the egg has a number of advantages that come with the ellipse shape. One of the advantages of the shape is that it helps a bird release the egg with minimal difficulties. The ellipse shape reduces the energy required by a hen to lay eggs. In addition, the shape of eggs makes it easy to lie in a nest without moving unnecessarily. As a consequence therein, damages that relate to the movements of a bird in a nest are significantly reduced as the eggs fit perfectly in a nest.

Furthermore, the ellipse shape makes it leaves spaces of one from the other eggs. Space ensures that eggs are not damaged by knocking each other. Additionally, the shape allows the eggs to maintain warmth by keeping the eggs warm. Besides, the shape of the eggs makes it lighter in weight compared to other shapes. As a result, birds are able to fly carrying and without damaging them. Also, the ellipse shape of the egg makes it invisible from predators since the eggs fit perfectly.

The picture is of a hyperbola shape. The image is a nuclear cooling plant. Nuclear power plants are instrumental in providing energy to companies. The hyperbola shape of a nuclear cooling plant is important in that it enhances the conservation of the environment by removing heat from the water circulating in the tower before returning it to the tower. The cooling plants dissipate heat from the ground and release it to the atmosphere, thereby minimizing the amount of heat released to the neighbouring areas. It is important to note that the water-cooled can be reused in the plant. Besides, the shape makes it easy to release the cooled water to rivers.

The hyperbola shape of the cooling tower makes it easy to utilize the air from the surroundings to cool the tower. Notably, the flow of air becomes seamless and faster because of the shape of the tower. Furthermore, the nuclear cooling tower is used in other sectors, such as in the burning of fossil fuel. The shape of the tower allows the installation of other components such as cooling tubes and electrical equipment. In addition, the shape enables the cooling tower to occupy a less amount of space. The hyperbolic shape is instrumental in aiding the exit of water from the top.
