A coronavirus is a large group of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Adanchin). A novel coronavirus is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans (Ks lee). It’s transmitted from civet cats to humans .it has negatively affected the china economy, especially tourism departments in several ways and some of the techniques are listed below:
The amount earned from tourism in china has now depreciated from $150m-50m since tourists are visiting china because of the fear of corona virus (Hancock). Most of tourists fear for their lives and also the fact that corona virus is airborne transmitted making it very dangerous and easily transmitted from one person to the other. since the corona virus outbreak started in wuhan,the absence of Chinese tour groups has left hotel, restaurants, publics, our operators and retailers counting the cost as one of their highest-spending customer groups has been forced to stay at home(Ks lee). so far, almost 75% of his travelers has cancelled their February and march departures to southeast Asian countries, which the U.S centre for disease control and prevention still considers to have a lower level one risk for corona virus.

Leaders in Beijing are undertaking sprawling lockdown and quarantine on a scale that is difficult to comprehend. the impact on the global economy is still yet to be fully understood.
