The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) permits you to experience the power and speed of your Traxxas model by making it controllable on slippery surfaces such as on smooth concrete, ice and snow, and on the loose dirt. Punching all it gets off the line and TSM senses the direction to which the vehicle is moving, making the steering correction to provide acceleration without fishtailing, spinning out, and loss of control.

Traxxas Stability Management also works while cornering, thus making corrections to keep on your line, and allowing you to hammer the throttle earlier while turning in much faster exit speed. Braking is drastically improved as TSM works to keep you straight till you come to complete and stop.

Traxxas TSM supplies electronic stability without intruding on your driving fun or introducing unexpected side effects that could be found on other systems like drastically reduced turning radius, overall disconnected driving feel, throttle restriction, and braking assistance that times out. TSM works with the TQi transmitter equipped with Multi-Function Knob, and it lives in the receiver model. The TQi TSM receiver has got a new number, TRA6533. The Multi-Function Knob adjusts the amount of assistance provided by TSM. The control is tightened by more support, effectively eliminating fishtailing and sliding. Less assistance makes the vehicle to be looser for controlled power slides and “steering” with the throttle. TSM doesn’t restrict throttle input. Every TSM model has a specific software load, custom-tuned to the model. To update the receiver firmware with a TSM profile for a specific model, connectivity to the Traxxas Link Application (android or Ios version) is required. You can also purchase the TQi Traxxas Link Wireless Module to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth, depending on the radio system.

Out of the box, no requirement neither additional setup or configuration of driver needed for TSM. It goes to work as long as the vehicle is turned on. The only time you can turn off TSM is while you are adjusting the steering trim from the TQi transmitter.

Have extra tires on hand

The Traxxas mission is to build its vehicles strong to withstand breakage and wear. If you like to pull the throttle trigger hard and often, expect increased tire wear. Usually, without TSM, It’s tough to hold full throttle for extended lengths of time, particularly when the vehicle has to be configured with brushless power and 3S LiPo batteries.
