The field which deals with human personality psychology is fun and exciting. The fact that psychologists can analyze, observe, and come up with specific substantiated facts on how one is likely to behave the way he or she might be acting is just surprising. I always find closure, especially when helping people around me, as this is what I regard or term as giving back to society, which to me, is the right thing to do and is very patriotic.
I feel that this career path will lead me to what I love doing most, that is interacting and sharing different views with a variety of persons, and through that, I get to learn various aspects and traits about them that would make my psychological work easier. Though learning personality psychology, I feel confident that our veterans and relatives who live under depression and trauma in the prisons would get the help they deserve as humans, and this will, in turn, reduce the rates of suicide in the entire USA significantly.
Therefore personality psychology should be the career that most psychologists should opt for to help our troubled fellow citizens who some fight so hard to keep us safe by securing our border day and night.
