People form organizations to facilitate the sharing of ideas that leads to smoother execution of duties. More so, policymakers respect and find solutions to organization voices/grievances fast than that of an individual. Hence, many professionals find it vital to be in an organization. However, such organizations should formulate a clear mission and vision that will ensure all member work in the same direction. This paper explores the Florida Nurses Association, its impact and importance in the nursing profession and the general health sector.

The Florida Nurse Association incorporate nurses from difference diversity with a mission of fostering their well-being and boost their professionalism, as well as, enhance the health of the citizens. Subsequently, it has the vision of creating a shelter for all registered nurses of the Florida state and facilitate a conducive working environment for them.

More so, nurse organizations maintain a high level of professionalism among its members through guidance and training to avoid any chance of members’ misconduct, which can destroy association’s reputation (Smith & Greene, 2015). Perhaps, through such organizations, nursing information can be integrated, analyzed and published in a controlled manner to avoid misleading information and of cause members of the association can receive and learn from such publication free of charge. Consequently, the organization brings people from different diversity together and model them to fit in the group a strategy that has reduced the practitioners’ differences.
Benefits of Professional Organization
Participation in an organization is essential because it broadens the mind of an individual, especially in nursing where such participation helps in learning new ideas/skills in a friendly manner. Further, organization help nurses from different level to meet in organization activities, such as seminars, which creates a room for nurses to learn from each other as well strengthen their skills and competence (Goolsby & DuBois, 2017). More importantly, an organization creates a networking platform to re-energize nurses’ professionalism. On that note, such network enhances smooth research as practitioners from different levels, health facilities and ethnicity interact. Besides, nurse organization are of great benefit to members since such association play a key role in advocating for their rights and freedom. Last but not least, a professional organization set aside fund to finance their members who may wish to advance their studies, particularly in young nurses. Therefore, being a member of an association is advantageous through protection, motivation and financial support.
