Creating a Study Plan for the RHIA exam
Thirty Day long Studying Schedule
Preparing for the RHIA exam requires a commitment which can be achieved by creating a strategic plan for studying. Apart from the timetable, which will guide me in scheduling the content to study, various strategies will be included to assist me in following through with the study plan. One is accessing the numerous study guides that are on offer online by purchasing practice tests. These will assist me in gauging my strengths and weaknesses. Using previous tests, quizzes, as well as assignments relating to health management, will assist in refreshing for the exam (Pickens & Eick, 2009). Another strategy is joining online study groups found on social media. They will be of great assistance in accessing extra resources and knowledge. Also, discussing and sharing about the exam with members of such groups will reduce the tension and anxiety surrounding RHIA tests, building my motivation to take the exam. One of the challenges I might face while studying is distractions. Studying at home where I reside with my family comes with various distractions such as noisy kids and loud music. To avoid these distractions, I will visit the library during my study periods as scheduled in the study plan.
