American’s need for radiology technologists
Being American, I recognize American’s need for radiology technologists in the form of innovators who seek to determine possible solutions and medical specialists, who help to improve the health care standards. I aspire to represent both the innovator and the medical specialist. Being from Raleigh, my primary aim is to improve the health facilities of my community by revolutionizing America’s health system so every single person can have access to medical care for an affordable price. The need for a radiology technologist who is able to combine medical procedures and technology to solve complex health problems cannot be under-emphasized; thus, my main aim for applying for this scholarship program.
Once I graduate with an honors degree in Business Administration with a minor in Information Technology and Marketing, I seek scholarship support to study Radiologic Science with a minor in pediatrics. My interest in Radiologic science stems from my lasting interest in providing an affordable way to cure illness in a less invasive approach through the integration of medical procedures with technology. Accordingly, my current research interests in combining medical procedures with technology require a deeper understanding of ionizing radiation, sound waves, and magnetic fields. As a Radiological student, I intend to use the theoretical and technical knowledge to achieve my career goal as a pediatric radiologist.
To enhance my understanding of Radiological science, I studied information technology and marketing as a minor; this improved my technical and research skills, making me able to design a better communication channel. I took it as my responsibility to monitor the health sector and reading on the monthly reports on medical advancements and health technology. Therefore, I intend to develop my career to enhance American’s capability to access affordable medical services.
I also participated in community programs aimed at social development, and development in need communities where I gained greater insight into my community challenges. I realized that not everyone is as fortunate as me to have food, shelter, transportation, job, and able to go to school. Engaging in such projects gave me a greater understanding of the benefit of simple initiatives in transforming people’s lives.

The Multidisciplinary focus of the medical practice program I am applying for will equip me with the crucial skills to creatively address the healthcare constraints experienced in my community.
