Students in middle school have a likelihood to hear biased comments against LGBT than high school, although the staff fails to address the use of negative language in school. Numerous LGBT students in middle school encounter verbal harassment due to their gender expression or sexual orientation, and a significant percentage experience physical assault or harassment founded on these aspects. There is a high level of LGBT victimization in middle school than in high school students, and the majority of the students fail to notify authorities about the incidences. LGBT students in middle schools frequently miss or fail to attend classes since they feel unsafe.
